What's your favorite Beer?

That's in the states I believe, I've seen it for months.
It's apparently not new at all, but it's the first time I've seen it. Direct delivery, didn't even order it. Got some Hoegaarden Agrume and Citrus or some shit like that as well… Worst part is this means less room for decent beers at my shop Well at the least til the promotional crate's gone

Brooklyn Sorachi Ace.
Not sure how I felt about this one after one small bottle, spicy and smooth but something just didn't taste right.
Maybe just a bit too yeast-y.Agreed. On paper it sounds good, but something's just a bit off about it. I drank a 750 ml bottle and still wasn't completely sure how I felt about it.

I got a great Mezcal in which the pinas were fermented in cypress and a local gin that looks interesting.
And some brews
This one is like eating an apple in a barn. Magnificent.

Don't get me wrong, there are a few available, just not many, and definitely not on the level of anything else we have. Most notable would be Bell's Oarsman and one from Jolly Pumpkin whose name escapes me. I would likely find more if I could get into the pubs and restaurants more frequently, as all of our brewers have some GREAT selections that are in house only.
Any of Jolly Pumpkin's are a good jumping off point for sours in Michigan. All of there beers are "Belgian Style" sours, so any of them will do. New Holland does Blue Sunday, which is usually a pretty solid one. Brewery Vivant does them occasionally (Tart Side of the Moon was canned last fall). We (Short's that is) have a bottled brett beer releasing this coming Saturday at our pub.
Michigan sours definitely aren't wildly available yet, but the style is starting to develop within our great state!

Thanks for the heads up emceeQ. Short's does some interesting brews, though not sure where the pub is honestly. Congrats on getting on with them by the way.
Had a nice little trip over to Arcadia Brewing tonight. Opted for a beer sampler with my meal. Funny enough, the IPA was my favorite of the selection.
Left to right: Loch Down Scotch Ale, B-craft Black Double IPA, London Porter, Cocoa Loco Stout, Imperial Stout
Paired with their Brewer's Brisket Sandwich with house chips and slaw

I can't get enough Crooked Stave, this dry hopped sour ale is ridiculous.

Drinking another Grapefruit Sculpin now, gotta decide what's next…

That's what I'm drinking right now. -
Funny enough, the IPA was my favorite of the selection.

Had a dinner at some friends' house. This went over well.
