Has anybody ever seen a boss with a western toe? Having a hard time finding pics that definitively show this configuration.
Yes, Muskhaven did one with a Morrison toe and tatmantall owned a pair for a while. It looks good, I'm sure the Bootery could build it. Google Muskhaven custom engineer and see if there are pics.

Guess who finally located the special usb cable for the digital camera he rarely uses. That's right, me:
Tiny MP Packers! At this point they have a handful of wears. Details:
7" Packer
Black Domain
MP last
269 sole
Unlined
The rest is obviousShout out to Bretro_ for paving the way! BTW these (and I've noticed others) also have the black edge dye on the top of the midsole. I think they do it for boots in black leathers with natural midsoles now.
So these are great. I started out totally in love with Whites, but the more I looked at Wesco, the more the stuff I initially didn't like grew on me, like brown stitching on uppers for black boots, and white heavyweight stitching on uppers for Jobmasters. When I found the MP last I was sold. The domain leather feels great, I just hope it holds up well. I saw some old logo Jobmasters at the cobbler's in either regular black or the old Black Fire leather, and they were stiff and touch as hell. I think I'm gonna go with a standard black, lace to toe Jobmaster next. My feet will turn to mush in them in LA it will be so hot.
You think these are good, try nicks. Better then whites and wesco

A bit of a hybrid, but roughly what you're looking at
That profile looks great, and the Muskhaven's are pretty much exactly what I had in mind (though I prefer a more curved heel). I've always suspected I'd like the western toe on the boss more than the MP; it's a nice low profile, classic look, without being too dainty or tight on the toes.
Thinking about a pair in black domain (lined?) with double midsole, half sole, 2-inch curved heel, 1-inch longer straps, brass roller buckles…
I have a pair of red wing engineers that crush my instep, and I've always thought I had relatively low profile feet, so I'm hesitant to try another engineer, but I love the look. The red wings are, overall, terribly uncomfortable in almost every way, so I'm not I should judge every engineer by them.

Boss boot with a Western Toe!

Please look how the hooks on your Nicks are attached, then look how WESCO attach their hooks. Details like that makes WESCO my favorite boot-brand at the moment
If you don't like the look, that's fine, but quality wise is WESCO top notch. -

Sure!!!
Whites (Nicks uses the same) uses no grommets, I already pulled out one hook on another pair, a cobbler fixed it.
Wesco uses grommets to prevent pulling out of leather

^
thanks for that.
great detail easily missed by someone who doesn't own the boots.

Wow that is some serious hook attachment. This makes me want to get a pair of lace-up Wescos even more!
Just do it
