We have just restocked the popular deep indigo western shirt by Pure Blue Japan.
The fabric is a 100% cotton 8 oz. fabric with both warp and weft yarns rope dyed in indigo.
It has been rinsed once (will not shrink) and features a western style back yoke and snap buttons.

Andrew Chen and Johan Lam, owners and designers of 3sixteen, fly to London for the official launch of our first collaboration. The RH-15x is a new slim tapered jean that uses a 15 oz. denim woven by the Kuroki mill in Japan. The denim is crunchy with an appealing sheen, sanforized yet slightly slubby. It's not going to disappoint those looking for killer fades.
We are really excited that Andrew and Johan are making such an effort to cross the Pond to be here for the launch. We'd love you to join us for the event and a beer or two on Friday 10th July from 6-9pm.

The Flat Head Horsehide Cafe Racer jacket is made from a 1.3mm thick equine leather from the esteemed Shinki tannery in Himeji, southern Japan. The jacket is veg tanned with part aniline finish. Both dye and pigments are combined for durability and to maintain the leather's character.
The jacket looks, feels and smells incredible. It features an original Flat Head iron buckle and brass zip. The heavy canvas inner pocket bags are printed with The Flat Head logo. Of course, this cannot be seen but that does not matter to The Flat Head and just one token of its remarkable attention to detail.
James is wearing a size 42. He is 188cm tall and weighs 83 kg.

That's one of the more impressive pieces of gear I've ever had the good fortune to handle. The leather is ridiculous, even for a Shinki. I have yet to see its equal personally. Only downside is that it attracts looks and hands like flies to honey [emoji1] The j jacket has immense presence, a personality even.

Stevenson Chief Native shirts and shorts, Saddle Horn Jackets and T shirts.
The Stevenson Native Chief Shirts use a custom woven three dimensional native pattern cotton fabric made by a Jacquard loom. The open neck shirt with concho buttons is based on a 1950s design, but updated to a more modern fit.
This is the shirt for driving a Cadillac Eldorado down the Californian coastline listening to Eddie Cochran but it's certainly suitable for more prosaic pastimes as well. There are indigo shorts made in the same fabric. We also have the indigo dyed discharge printed Paisley Hood Shorts based on the Khaki chino . Anyone considering hanging up their denim on these hot and humid summer days need not compromise on style any longer.
The Saddle Horn is a work jacket by Stevenson and has been entirely stitched with a single needle. The front pleats are late 19th century design and the one smiley front pocket a uniquely Stevenson feature. The jacket has a cinch back and comes in the signature green line 14 oz. indigo denim and an indigo plaid fabric.
The navy/white Border T shirt uses Memphis cotton and is a slim fit. Note the invisible chest pocket stitching. Henley's from this Japanese label are always in demand. The short sleeve version comes in a cool and breathable waffle fabric. We also restocked the Twin Pack Loopwheeled Cotton T Shirts in white and graphite.

I was out and about in London for meetings on Wednesday with my boss, who wanted to walk past her old workplace at what used to be the Piatkus publishing imprint. And what was there now but Rivet and Hide! I had to be dragged away, as we didn't have time to stop and shop. The store looks great though, very cool window displays and Iron Heart jeans clearly visible through the window!

The RH15 jean is a custom slim tapered fit we designed exclusively for the store with 3sixteen.
We chose a 15 oz, left hand twill, white line selvedge denim by Kuroki in Okayama. The denim itself is crunchy, rope-dyed in indigo with a slight grey cast, and is slubby. We know it is going to fade very well.The mid-rise jeans are sanforized and feature hidden rivets and a RH15 Tanner Goods thick leather patch.
They also come with a generous 37.5" inseam. The gradual taper from the thigh ends below the knee, so there will be no change to hem width below 33" inseam length if alterations are required on our Union Special.

Last week Atsu Tagaya, owner and designer of Stevenson Overall Co visited us at the store. He had with him a well used pair of his own jeans: 727 La Jolla. This 14 oz. denim is custom woven by the Kuroki Mill in Okayama Japan. It is a slubby fabric with subtle a greencast undertone. The jeans have been single needle stitched which is incredible when you see how precise the constructional stitching is. You can see how the leather backed iron fly buttons create their own unique fade.

Iron Heart has taken 17 oz. Japanese indigo selvedge shirt/jacket with side pockets and coated it in a black sulphur dye. This process gives the denim deep blue and black tones with hints of purple and reds. The overdye eventually wears out. The beauty of the process is the unique fading evolution the garment goes through by wearing and washing. It gives the fabric a wonderful patina.
