IH-666D - 17oz Duck Slim Straight Cut Jeans - Brown
-
Oh my. My DD's just arrived. First experience with the 666 cut. Not sure if the 666 is for me in the long run (i'll post pics and you guys can tell me what you think), but sweet Jesus this is a beautiful fabric. That is all.
Long as your thighs/seat fit good, just send them to RailCar Fine Goods for any trimming thigh down. My loombreakers are in their hands right now, can't wait to see their work.

I hear only good things about those guys.
Yeah, the wide knee and hem are not my fave. That being said, the way the duck has creased and stacked already after a few hours wear is looking good. I think I'll hold off on denim 666, but these guys will probably stay as they are "something a little different".

How do you guys care for your ducks? I read IH care guide, but dunno if there is liquid vegetable soap in any stores around me.

Thanks @Bluegrass

@neph93 if you can send yours to railcar… Do it. Just got my loom breakers back and they were perfectly done. Worth the 65 to have a perfect fitting Jean.

Giles, will these ever be made in super black or super dark brown?

@bluegrass. 10-4. Bandaleros.

Thanks for that. I'm in Norway so not practical. $65 seems a very reasonable price for that kind of work though. I'd love to see fit pics.
Having worn them a lot the last few weeks i'm getting more and more happy with the cut. Just strange as everything else I own is tapered.

Would appreciate it if a few folks could tell me how much stretch they've achieved in the waist on these. Thanks

Does anyone have any drying advice please? I got toothpaste on them, and washed them but the stain didn't move. Tried scrubbing just the stain and it was still there, so ended up washing them a second time (40 degrees instead of 40, and for about an hour rather than 30mins).
But drying inside takes literally days for these (and it's too cold/wet to dry outside). I take it the tumble dryer is a no-no, but what about on a radiator maybe? Any other ideas greatly appreciated!
