Thanks @Oleg. I was reading through the Care thread and probably should have posted there, but wanted specific input on the 25oz. Greasing the patch is a great bit of advice! I would love to get 2" in the waist and maybe 1/3" in the leg opening but I am probably asking a lot.
I encourage you to get another pair that fits and keep the current pair in good condition in case you put on the weight again. I'd hate to see you cut off the patch, boil the jeans, and then put them in a dryer. Seems blasphemous to treat them that way. You can always sell them later if you don't mistreat them too much. Just my opinion.

I should add: mine are close to four years, and are in ridiculously good nick… Looking at izham's pics, it shows hard wear, but almost no damage/ tear... Still amazes me... Real proof of real quality...
I was thinking the same thing. With all that wear back pockets would be hanging off many other brands of jeans.

Just received my first pair of IH's. 666-XHS sz32. First wear fit pics. A little low quality but whatever. I already freakin love these jeans.
