The Flat Head

Yes you do.
Here is some insanity for you guys!
-
Picked the last size 38 of this beautiful houndstooth workshirt heavy selvage flannel up at rivetandhide while in London last Nov 14. Impressive piece and always take it out when it's getting bit cooler again.
@babyknight afaik you own one of these too ?
-
Nice. It is so thick and soft. I have the western version.
-
It is bro, the Western is very very nice too was a bit late for that enjoy yours, thank u @summ3rhays
-
Perfect fit David! I would love that shirt if it was shorter and in a cream/brown patern
-
We are taking this shirt again in the autumn. It should arrive October or November. Same fabric and navy houndstooth on the ivory flannel. In both work and western.
The fabric is very difficult to make. It is shuttle loomed but the thickness causes many of the shuttles to break. The Flat Head said they would not make it again but they recognized what a beautiful fabric this is and could not resist.@davito It looks great

Thx bro @grandmasterben
Thanks @Danny RnH ! And great News

Yes sir @davito , indeed I do. Wonderful piece. Looks great on you too, congrats on an excellent pick up!
-
Hey @Danny RnH is the shirt exclusive to you? Also, are you getting it with the newer shorter lengths for their shirts or specifying longer lengths?
-
@grandmasterben No, this shirt is from the AW15 collection and available to all retailers.
Last year when i was told the shirts would become shorter I was worried that they might be too short. TFH agreed to make mine to the original lengths. However, this delayed their production considerably. I've since found that the length differential is so negligible it's not worth the delay so sticking with the new standard length for future orders.
-
Twism those would be a good fit if they were sanforized… Don't have any experience with 8002 but I'd bet that should you ever want to wash them they will be too small.
-
@demonito no not really.
Btw guys, Ed (Edmond) on sufu might try and get a flat head contest going. We're thinking either the 3005/3009 (Straight/straight-tapered) cut with RJB's "new" zimbabwe denim that first came out with the sexfhxrjb15.
These would be a legendary pair of jeans… show enthusiasm on sufu if you're interested!

That would be crazy. I have the sexfhxrjb and that denim is great. It was so sharp post shrink I had abrasions behind my knees. It is a beautiful turquoise blue now and is soft as a kitten.

That's such good news, I spotted they were making the blue and ivory through 2nd and was going to ask if you were getting any in. Money is tight at the moment with a wedding to pay for but this is definitely going to be one purchase that makes the cut.
