IHM-10 - N1 Deck Jacket - 2015 Edition
-
@Chain$titch:
How much is the fitment of these impacted by the lining thickness (or lack thereof)? Are the external measurements to be respected, or should I be focusing on tagged size more so than the tale of the tape?
(For reference, I have a 45"ish chest, trying to gauge whether I'm better suited for the large or the XL, which I noticed gained a 0.5" from last year).
I'm 42 and wear an L.

A buy that's hard to justify but easy to rationalize to myself, but cannot stop visiting the IHM-10 page. Lust is a hell of a drug.

I really want the navy dammit. Living in Canada makes it easy to justify, but the exchange rate on money right now kicks my ass. $600 jacket turns into an $800 jacket [emoji22]

I'm 42 and wear an L.
(Naturally G. Only trying to ascertain how snug a L will be for me, versus how much I will be swimming in an XL, based on how this bad boy is constructed.)
Are this year's modifications noticeable to the expert (or layperson) wearer?

I'd go XL…...The only real change is the length of the alpaca pile.....

Thank you, Sir.
This has to be one of the more impressive items out of the shop for the last few seasons. The essential winter jacket IMO [emoji108]
Amen. One wonders which varietal G owns…

Hi Giles,
Is the Khaki M still available please? -
@slowdownarthur We've emailed….

No more will be made. We have to commit numbers when we start to weave the fabric. So in Spring, we have to guess then what demand will be like. We got it hopelessly wrong this year, but in our defence, we did have to put some IHM-09 on sale to shift them, so we did think that maybe Deck Jackets had had their day…..

Well, the more common sizes allways fly of the shelf like crazy. What went to sale where the ones for the "verticaly challenged" people, as far as I remember. So, simply make more L and XL stuff and less of the uncommon sizes. This applies to shirts as well.
Yeah yeah, I know, if it would be that easy to estimate. => Insert Giles with crystal orb picture here.
