IH-634SR - 21/23oz 5 Year Anniversary Straight Cut
-
Every time I put another years worth of work on my SRs I come in here to post them and realize they are still not good enough to hang with all the destroyed ones in here…
I have no idea how you guys beat these so much.
-
@mikesantor I know I'd be interested in seeing them.
-
Ill get some pics snapped soon.

Aha Kybosh! To be honest I just loved these more as I kept wearing them. I do miss having the dark blue from time but I think it gives it much character as I keep wearing them and repairing them. I did finally pull the trigger on getting my second pair of IH which I now wear daily, so the SR's rarely see wear.
@mikesantor Don't be afraid to post pictures, I honestly enjoy just looking at different ways IH fade, no matter how little or how much.

Way to go @mikesantor they look awesome. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Is that pocket knife fade on the front right of your pocket? Looking all around good, can also tell you wash it often which is a huge plus.

Thanks guys!

Yup, it was a Hinderer that I had for a few years. I have since sold it. I actually got this pair when it first came out and they only have 1 initial soak and 1 wash.
Almost time for me to buy my second pair of IH jeans and my first shirt. I need some of those waffle henleys in my life.

Keep in mind that a cold soak in a bucket will not give you the full amount of shrinkage

@Max Power
A few possibly dumb questions.- Since it will eventually stretch back to tag size, is it a problem if I don't get maximum shrinkage?
- My 634sr is stiff and dry now. Should I soak it in hot water again?
-
@Giles : Hate to bother you but could you please answer what may be not-so-smart questions?

G, need your opinion. my SRs only had 1 initial hot soak when they came out years ago. Since then i wore them for years but lost a whole lot of weight. they just hang in my closet wishing to get worn. Do you think if i did another hot soak and then a real hot tumble dry i could force some more shrinkage out of them? they are size 38 and right now i fluctuate between a 34 and 36 depending on craft beer season. is it worth a shot trying to make them smaller or not bother and just dont wear em?
Thanks buddy!
