For what it's worth- Pronto have plenty of these still in stock, especially their Central World branch. (Bangkok). Baht is fairly cheap at the moment too, meaning it isn't bad value either. You boys would love their stores, all the quality brands, and some Iron Heart exclusives hiding in there too.
Could you please post a link? I'd love to buy a pair of '55S in size 33 and would much prefer to not have to wait 3-4 months to do so, if possible
Thanks!!
EDIT: Found it but how do you place an order?? Can someone please explain how the shop works; is it tel. orders only?

Your best bet is to email them- one of the English speaking staff should reply. INFO@PRONTODENIM.COM
For whatever reason their flagship stores carry more Iron Heart stock than their centralised inventory suggests, which I discovered to my joy this week after visiting three different stores, so if the emailed answer comes back as a "no" you could always use Skype to ring their Central World branch (the biggest I've visited so far) to check with them. Hope that helps!

Been wearing my pair quite a bit the last few weeks, but have been doing some serious dieting on a "cut" phase since January, and the fit doesn't look quite so sharp now I've shed about 20lbs. But today begins the next "bulk" phase and back to the heavy weights, so I'll fix that. I also got them professionally hemmed by Pronto at no cost on a Union Special- they did a perfect job. Took the inseam from 37 to 33.5, which gives me the option of stacking on a boot with no cuff, or having a medium single cuff, or double cuff with very flat shoes.
I really love the fabric of the jeans and all the details, and even though it's comfortable to wear (really comfy), the high front rise is a total bugger. Aesthetics aside it is impractical if you use your front pockets for your wallet and phone- as the pockets come up higher on the hips it is a pain to get anything in and out of them, and if you have these items in your pockets when you try to bend to put socks on or something you realise you cannot bend at the hips and have to empty your pockets and try again- the items are pressed up against your hip rather than on your thigh. An extra inch of pocket length would solve the problem of movement when loaded up with a medium sized phone and wallet.
Aesthetically I don't like the high front either- this doesn't matter if you wear a long top and it covers the front, I knew I'd never tuck anything in to them. But for my frame- big strong ass specifically- the shape doesn't suit me well. To make the cloth hang flat at the front I'd have to basically wedgie myself to pull them high enough. As it is I end up with a lot of spare fabric bunching up in the crotch creating the 'diaper crotch/crotch bulge' look, especially when walking. Perhaps more prominent with the anti fit as the hips are particularly wide for a 36 waist. It was not evident when I first bought them while the material was very rigid in the fly area.
Maybe the silly looking crotch bulge will diminish as the fabric wears in more and I go back to my regular 225lbs weight. Anyone else with these experience the crotch bulge issue? I'm wondering if starching or ironing the flies all the time might help? Is this more common with the heavy fabric? Cheers lads.

thanks for sharing your thoughts.
could you please provide some pictures maybe as an example of the issue(s) you are having?

Just the one issue in terms of appearance, the bunching of excess crotch fabric- I'll try to find time to post a pic shortly. They're such awesome jeans otherwise- but I am kicking myself I didn't man up and go all out with the 25oz IH-634-XHS, which is the only other jean IH sell that fits me.

slow & steady wins the race @richardjohn22 . in my limited experience I've found heavier denim almost always looks weird/off until it settles down. 21oz denim is a great gateway because it gets you used to the heavier weight without being restrictive or uncomfortable.
Your crotch issue would have possibly been worse with heavier denim . . . but then again that 634 cut is golden for a lot of folks & that 25oz denim wears in so nice, hahahahaha
Sorry no help

Haha! thanks for that!
By the way, the 634 "cut" is massively variable in 36 waist, same silhouette basically, but the XHS is far roomier and big rear rise. Some of them I couldn't even pull up over my legs in the shop! haha. Considerable variation.

By the way, in Dubai this week my friend took me to a shop where they sell skinny jeans that even fit me! How bizarre. I still can't bring myself to buy stretchy jeans, yuk, but interesting that someone makes them with sufficient thigh and seat room. 11/17 front rear rise even. Wow. But £180 for stupid skinny stretchy jeans? Nonono

I had the issue you describe above with my 634 jeans when I upgraded my phone to an iPhone 6 Plus. With the 1955 jeans the pockets are deep enough that I don't have this issue, even though I also have a big bum and tree trunk thighs. Just one of those "your millage may vary".

If I wear these down on my hips I can put my iPhone 6 in my pocket fine, it's only when I wear them higher up that there is an issue. Worn an inch or two below the navel I couldn't bend with even an iPhone 4 in my pocket.

@tmg:
I also have a big bum and tree trunk thighs.
I'm in that boat, and looking forward to getting some of these when they next appear in May, but I never carry anything in my front pockets, so it'll be interesting to see how they sit at the front.
These sure can accommodate massive legs. If you can't wear these it's down to custom making your jeans or wearing something else…
By the way, I experimented with a few different pairs of jeans (I have tons), and think the crotch bulge issue will go away when I fill out the seat area once more... Jeans definitely flatter more when you can fill out your chosen pair.

The fairytale schedule says so. But it is a Japanese trait that admitting that a production run will be late is like an admission of failure. So I don't get told until really late (if at all) that stuff is running late because no one can pluck up enough courage to tell me….
