Got a little care package in the mail, just now!
Thanks for the beers, Broark! I can't wait to try 'em. As for the jeans, I haven't gotten ready for the day, yet–still having morning coffee in my PJs. I'll put these on in a bit, and put up some more pics.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Extended coffee hour today in the front yard. A blustery but beautiful spring day. I was supposed to work later, but I have a herniated disc in my back, so I can't really do much of anything right now. Chiropractor again on Monday, and then I'll see my doctor on Wednesday to find out if I've injured myself again, and how badly this time. For now, sitting until that's unbearable, then I'll change it up a bit. Chronic pain is a bitch.

Thanks, everyone. I'm a big proponent of chiropractic, and I had one in SF that I adored. When I was living in Mexico was the first time that my back really "went out". I had physical therapy while I was there, but never got a chiropractor. Since moving back to Asheville, money has been a little tight, so I wasn't taking care of myself very well. Now, here we are. I'm optimistic about the new one that I'm seeing, she did some work on me yesterday. But, the pain remains. I just want to avoid surgery, at all costs.

Dealing with a bout of sciatica from my younger years I know how debilitating and painful back issues can be. Worst pain I've felt in my life. I hope there is something that helps you.

Thanks for the cheerleading, everyone! I went grocery shopping, and then took the dogs for a little walk. Not bad, but now I'm laying flat on my back on the floor, with an ice pack. Baby steps.
It's apparent that I may be taller than the previous guys on the tour, honeycombs and knee fades are a wee bit off.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Glad the beers made it there safely! I was worried they might get broken so I went heavy on the bubble wrap and tape.
I thought it was fitting to send the Buford's Roadside Wares beer with the jeans since it was an Austin based brewery in collaboration with an Arizona brewery and that's where the jeans came from before I got them.
Enjoy! -
Bubble wrap is key!
The rest of today is going to be all about relaxing (again). I got up early and worked brunch. We weren't very busy, so I got to come home in a timely fashion. My back doesn't seem much the worse for wear so far, but I just got done. Hopefully working wasn't a bad idea.

Had another chiropractor appointment today, and right as I'm walking out the door the postman hands me a package I've been breathlessly awaiting: an IHSH-04! I have wanted this shirt, in this color way, forever. It's beautiful. The jeans are pretty nice, too.
