Really diggin the shape and feel of these Morrisons. They are a beast to break in but are getting better everyday.
What's the consensus on treating the burlap smooth out leather? Thinking of maybe trying to darken the color just a tad, and I'm guessing since the leather has not be tanned, it could stand to be weather proofed a bit…

Mine are in need of a cleaning, but here's what they look like. I cleaned them once last year, and afterward gave them a light coat of Bick 4. I left the tongues uncleaned and untreated, for comparison purposes. When I get around to cleaning and conditioning them again, I can post some more pictures.

So glad I went with wescos! Placed the order on December 18th and received them today April 14th. Well worth the wait.

Can anyone comment on wesco shoe fit compared to the jobmasters? I'd like to get a pair of shoes.

The multiple different shades of indigo and black denim paired with black marks from my boot jack convinced me to throw caution to the wind and go ahead and dub the burlap smooth out. I Left the top of the boot untreated, cause I figured I could always do it later.
Anyways, the color turned out pretty cool! Still a nice lighter brown shade, but now more of a honey color. I dig it.

Thanks guys! I love the untreated burlap, but I think I would prefer it on a pair of Foot Patrols (so the laces could provide contrast) or done in rough out when done as a pull on boot as the texture provides the nice dimension to the color. If I ever do a custom build, I'll probably do a Boss with Burlap Rough out base and black top half.
The color did mellow a bit overnight:
