fades of the future
hahahaha, the cut is perfect on this one for me.
just need to make it with all blue stitching in a none fading fabric & I'll be happy.
total Monday moment, make it in blue cord with blue stitching & the red W with hand warmer pockets & it would be on. Probably wouldn't sell very well but I would get one, hahahaha put it under Iron Heart bespoke / one of ones

Such an awesome jacket and fit @madmonday !
Just for info, how did you size up? I've noticed the chest is significantly tighter in relation to the shoulders vs the 526J, 2526J and the 526J-od
EDIT: just noticed that you mentioned it was sz 40.. Missed it earlier.
How does it compare vs your other TypeIIIs (I know you have the beautiful beige cord) -
Finally got my hands on this beauty! Thanks again @Giles for the amazing service and reception [emoji4]
Double Indigo duck is bruisingly stiff and has a consistent richness and depth of color, almost purple in some light. Love that texture [emoji8]
Brass buttons (my favourites) and orange stitching complete the special look [emoji1362]Fit is larger than what I usually go for (pics are trimming) with good room to layer. Shoulders are wider than my norm too..
I love the length, finally I can wear a type III over my IH shirts [emoji4] -
Great fit! Have you soaked it already? It will bleed a lot but feel a bit softer after a while. Although breaking in really fits for this fabric - it makes cracking sounds in the beginning.

Congrats on a great fit and one of IH best fabrics IMO. Wait for about three hard wearing weeks. You'll see some beautiful fades soon! The DD is an amazing fabric.
They will always remain somewhat stiff, my LB DD are mostly comfy but still stiff ha.

Thanks for the kind comments, Gents! @den213 @twin @mahlon321 @Max Power @Jordonf9 @Finkster
Properly in love with this thing.. This is my 3rd piece in the DD and it tops the list IMO.
Been searching for years for a good fitting indigo type III and it's been a very expensive venture.. My 2526J, which I love, fits great all over but is too short to wear with untucked shirts.
This is cut differently and out of the bag seems very promising but one never knows until it properly settles.. Fingers crossed! Not sure I'll be soaking Flo: while I can do with some shrinking in the shoulders and sleeves, the chest and length are just where I want them. Will reconsider once (if!) it fully relaxes and becomes too loose fitting.
Tomorrow I'm going to rock it on its first (office) day. More pics very soon….!

I didn't get much (barely None) shrinkage, but would suggest you soak to get the starch out.

Jacket looks great[emoji1303]
G, this isnt on the site at all. Reg "jacket" section or "extinct" -
It's because it just was not selling, even when I reduced the price in specials. So on the basis it was getting no love (and we had a load of other jackets on the site), I decided to take it off-line for a few moths/years and the rerelease when I thought it may be better appreciated. It is simply too good a jacket to give up on and yard-sale it….I may Phoenix it soon......
