IHXB01xUHR - Ultra Heavy Raw Beatle Busters

Working an all nighter…

Gave them a second wash at 40C and 600rpm. More shrinkage attained, when they settle and stretch they'll be a decent relaxed fit. Some very small areas of marbling, I guess caused by pre wash creases. They are barely noticeable and the denim's slubby uneven nature is far more prevalent.
Measurements:
Pre-soak/Post-soak/2nd wash
Waist: 37"/35.8"/35.2"
Inseam: 33.3"/31.9"/31.6"
Thigh: 13.1"/12.9"/12.75" -
I said no shite fit pics but it had to be done. I'm a little unsure about the final result. If this was a post stretch fit then OK, but they're still a little long in the leg and too comfy in the waist and thigh for new jeans. But it's marginal. So, keep or flip, people? Your honest answers are appreciated.

Def too long, but I think the more relaxed top block suits this denim….
They are a little over an inch too long when compared to my SBG BB's which my seamstress sorted for me. I'm tempted to leave them as is and cuff them to wear with my Wesco's when they arrive. I'm not averse to a bit of stacking either. Is the UHR meaningfully harder to hem than the 21oz?

I don't see anything wrong with the fit, in fact I think it's like they're meant to fit.

stacked or cuffed they'd look good.

Another all nighter/weekender…. [emoji53]

@mikebarhoot - jeans looking good and those kicks are nice!
Having initially stored my UHR until autumn we're now having a patch of cooler weather so I took them out to try on. Can't get comfortable with the fit as I know it's only going to stretch out so I'm going all in. 1 hour soak in the hottest water I can get out of the tap then a wash on 60C with no spin… I guess if that doen't get all the shrinkage out nothing will.

Hope it'll work out for you and you can love 'em! I too was unsure about the Busters' fit first (roomy top-block, fitted thigh, flare from the knee down and the rather wide hem) but I got used to them and after some wear they are one my favs as they resemble a classic pair of jeans perfectly.
-
thanks Neph! these, while on the roomy side, are comfortable. theyve stretched since og soak but im not gonna intentionally shrink em. i do love the UHR tho! keepers for sure!
now i need to focus on upper body to get down to a size that is condusive for a ih shirt.

Got a result with the hot tub soak + 60C wash. Haven't taken measurements yet but I've lost a bit in the leg (so much so that when creases form and I lose a bit more I won't need to cuff) and the waist, top block and thigh have tightened noticeably. Measurements and pics for the sake of documentation to follow shortly.
It remains to be seen how three washes and two soaks will affect the way they wear in, but I honestly don't care now they fit that much better
