IH-777-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Super Slim Tapered Jeans - Indigo

How much harder is this denim to break in than the 21oz sanfortized?
-
About 6 weeks of pain, if worn every day….
pfffffffft gawd, don't know if I'm up for that!
I am loving this cut in the 21oz, only had them a week, I feel like I need to give these some love first. My next pair is the XHS though, the nicest fades I've ever seen have been with this denim! -
Thank you! Just love the stuff you guys do!
I think they are measures the same way (mine are 36):

I'm hopeful that these will sell so well you reconsider the higher rise of the 555 cut. I would love to crush some super slim heavyweights, but can't hang with the back rise on the 777.

Tell me about it! I was so stoked to see these, and wept when I checked measurements lol. 25oz 555 seems the next logical leap in my own selfish, illogical thought process

These look great. Sure they will produce some awesome fades.

@W1N:
Having these in the basket ready to go. But..
I have my 301S waist 37. Should I size up or size down on these heavier ones? 38.5 seems kinda big..
From my experience, the 301S come up about 2 Inches larger than tagged size and stretch to 3-4" over tagged size in the waist. The XHS won't have nearly the same stretch, so I would measure where the waist and thighs are now, and then pick the corresponding size in the 777-XHS based on presoak measurements. I'm guessing your size 301S are a size 36. If this is the case, I would probably go with the size 38 in the 777XHS. Although they are too big for me now, my size 301S size 38 would fall directly in between the size 38 and size 40 777-XHS based on comparing measurements. But make sure you measure the way Giles recommended, so you can make sure you are comparing apples to apples. The biggest difference in the 21oz and the 25oz denim will be the amount of flexibility in the thigh/crotch - the 21 oz is quite mobile, where the XHS is, well, "not mobile" in really tight.

Now would you experts say that this denim is tougher to break in and wear than the UHR?
