And an L was good.

Quick shot before I go on a ride. Size L over a black 107. Really like this tough material and brass color buttons.

This vest never got the love we felt it deserved, so has been reduced from USD300 to USD200 in the hope it will find its way into a few more hearts

@neph93 The lining is very thin, just a lightweight fleece. The Cordura material makes this thing completely windproof. I have a large to wear over several layers of outerwear, I'd get a medium if I was just going to wear it over a t-shirt or henley.

Thanks for the info and taking the time. Can I ask what size you wear in shirts and tees?
-
I wear between M-L in shirts. Tees usually medium.

I ordered one of these up last week, and it arrived today. I normally take an XXL in IH, and went for XXXL to allow it to be layered over leathers.
It feels relatively light compared to the IHV-21. For some reason, I was expecting a super heavy Cordura shell, like you'd see on a rucksack. I think that it's going to be very wearable, and will probably get more use.
It's pretty warm too, which is not what I need given the current heatwave in Melbourne.
Fit pics to follow.
@neph93 have you ordered one yet?
-
@Graeme I've just ordered one.
As I wrote earlier I'm planning on using this "off label", fitted over tees/henley's in the summer. Because of that, I haven't been able to decide how to size it so I'm having an M and an L sent out, and I'll send one back. The lightweight nature of the garment and the published chest measurement of the M leads me to believe it will fit but it may be too short. The wind up here can make a 20C summers day feel like 12C so I'm hoping it will be a useful bit of kit.

Looks like the perfect fit.
Mine came and it's going to do exactly what I hoped it would. No one should be surprised, but it's a cracking bit of kit. Considering it's effectively made of nylon it's almost luxurious. The material has a silky sheen to it and drapes well. The branded snaps are brilliant, the collar snaps are a nice touch and the type III cut looks really sharp in a modern material. It really works as an alternative to the denim type III's. Looks badass while being functional.
