IH-666SII - 18oz Indigo/Indigo Slim Cut Jean

You've done good work @nizzel55. They resemble you! Beautiful pair of beautiful denim

I grabbed a pair of these in size 30 and need to hem. I will wash and dryer them. How much shrinkage in length can I expect with normal wash and dry? I know an inch is to be expected but I've never got that even with the hottest washes and most brutal dryer sessions so I'm looking for real world input. Thanks, Nick

both pairs look fantastic, high potential for the win.

Thanks @Max Power
It is fun being able to compare our jeans. For some reason Enells pair is holding up better then mine. I doubt my pair will survive to 600 days. Have to do small repairs every week now on mine. -
Interesting how little the II differs over many wears from the standard versions.

Needed some sizing help on these as I wanted to buy a pair next week. My first pair of jeans were the IH634S in a 42… i've lost weight since then and am now a 40. So on the sizing chart if I look at a 40 it has (41), is that the actual size before a wash, where they'd go to 40 post wash? And if they are a 41 to begin with would they stretch to a 42 give or take? Would I be better off with a 38 and letting the stretch? Just wanted peoples experiences. Joe

First post here is this forum. I talked to Alex @ iron heart and considering 666s2. Since I am new to iron heart , what is iron heart best fading jeans ? Looking for up to 19oz
Thanks -

ThanksI would say these and the 18oz denim are the quickest fading IH denim in the midweight category.

And of course the Double Duck, if that Counts as Jeans. And then there's still the question wether "best Fading Jeans" means "quickest Fading Jeans"…

is that the actual size before a wash,
Yes, all measurements on thh website are pre-soak/wash
And if they are a 41 to begin with would they stretch to a 42
They may over time
@joephoto:Would I be better off with a 38 and letting the stretch?
Possibly…..
My rule of thumb is that after soak/wash/stretch, you will end up with a waist between 1/2" and 1" larger than pre soak/wash

I'm a 40 also, but I have to be careful with the thighs. These would fit great if they were sanforized, but I'm pretty sure I'll opt for the 634SII.
