IHSH-170 - Indigo Dyed 10oz Check Selvedge Flannel Work Shirt

well if an S pops up somewhere….

Giles, have you ever thought of doing one size larger? That would account for a few extra yards. I'm pretty sure I've seen a couple guys that can't wear IH shirts because they're too small. 4x fat American size.
-
I'll take that as a no.
-
-
@Giles , ever thought about doing tall sizes?
-
Not get too off topic here on the thread, but I have found (as a somewhat tall guy 6'3") IH gear can be very wearable. Jeans often have a 36/37 inseam and with them returning to traditional IH sleeve lengths, I have no issues with bare wrists. Body length can be a challenge, but I have found it's a matter of me rethinking how long my shirts actually have to be. Same goes for outerwear.
All that being said, as many have commented all over the forum, sizing is a compromise as everyone's body is different. Furthermore, certain fabrics react differently than others and the fact the real humans are sewing these items account for a normal measure of variation on each item. There are definitely items I have had to disappointingly pass on due to measurements (the IHSH-70 is one), but that's true for everyone and is just par for the course. However, it makes us appreciate the items that are a good fit for us even more.
All in all IH clothing is by far the best I've ever had the opportunity to wear. I'm sure you'll find some items that will meet your needs.
Speaking of meeting needs, hope that 170 western is made in numbers large enough to meet our demand

That's intolerable! ???
-
I should have got my shirt already, but DPD said no one was in to sign for delivery, even though reception always has at least 1 person on it. Now I won't be able to get my hands on it for another two weeks as I am away…oh the tragedy
Damn, can you call them up or message them….? Any thing we can do from here?
-
just got mine and I think I'm gonna say it… in person it's my favorite IH flannel design of all time.
it's that good...
-
damn.
(goes to fill out form for the western)…..

I second that - all of it. Even at 6'1 and slightly wider at the top, some stuff isn't going to work for me. PLus years of wearing baggy clothes to hide extra weight, I am not adjusting my thinking on how clothes should fit. A shirt doesn't need to come down to the middle of my thighs to fit correctly. And I am lucky I am in the UK, so I can order something and if it doesn't work I can easily return it.

Thanks for asking Giles. Only thing I could do was rearrange delivery for tomorrow. I won't be in but my work colleagues can stash it away in my drawer.
It's weird, cos the driver (going by the name) is the same one who always delivers my Iron Heart orders.
