For reference, a 38 is M right? I take the Ih526L in 38 and need to have this..

@Sam which measurements made this an L for you? I seriously want one, but comparing it with my XXL OD type III leads me to believe that an XL would work, or maybe even an L for a fitted look over just a tee. That would be weird seeing as I'm generally one size up from @Giles and two up from yourself…

This is so gooooood. I usually wear XXL in jackets, but for this lightweight I decided to size down.

Looks a bit snug in the arms and chest. Is it comfortable?

It's a bit tight, but not uncomfortable. I probably won't wear it buttoned very often. Not because it's tight, but I just prefer it that way. It is a very light denim. It feels softer and lighter thank my go to shacket, IHD-01.

Very cool. I imagine it will stretch a little too. I cant wait to see some well worn examples of this jacket [emoji106]

I received this jacket today and I'm blown away. Such a nice lightweight alternative to the 526Jod. It's a keeper for sure. Don't let the sizing table fool you. I wear an XL in most IH shirts and L in IH t-shirts. XL in this jacket is the right fit for me.
I'm pleased for you! Love to see a pic if can manage it.
I really like this but I'm fed up with jackets that are too long on me. I'd have to go down to L to get the right length (compared to my 526Jod) and I don't think I can do the chest on an L.
