Deviation from the norm.

Just ordered a pair of these, can't wait to wear them! Excuse me if this is a novice question but just how important is it to wash this denim after the initial soak? Could you just do the soak, hang dry, and wear? Also, would a hot soak be advisable or should the initial soak definitely be cold?

Hi @Costch
The washing part is to try and agitate the denim after the soak to get rif of most of the shrinkage. It is not required like the soak but recommended.

My 634 UHRs after 33 months, worn unwashed and unsoaked for a few months then machine washed up to 40C.

Broke down and bought a pair before this denim is disappeared forever. This is my third pair of 21/23oz.
If the measurements work, you should grab one of the last few pairs of this epic denim…

Awesome! Excellent leg twist!

I apologize in advanced if this is a silly question, but I was wondering, how well does the fabric on these breathe? I have a pair of the 634S in the flagship 21oz and I feel like those breathe fairly well making them a nice year round pair. Whereas my 25oz feel like a damn sauna the moment I start doing anything "active" in them. Just wanted to see which one they're more comparable to.
-
- the 21oz is more breathable but oh well, no pain no fades

UHR is great winter wear, but at 90F yesterday… time to break out the lightweights.

What do you consider your lightweights? Yesterday was 90 here and the 634s were too warm for me. Working outside all day. I sweat a bunch.
" slow is smooth, smooth is fast." I Learned that phrase from the book series "The Remaining" I think
If that phrase often and it helps me slow down and speed up. -
Touché mate. Would you consider the 14oz very breathable?
