Left Field NYC

I'm looking at the Left Field Miner in Indigo Raw- looking for help on the sizing.
I realize they have them up on the site in detail but I went into Freeman in Seattle to try on and the Tan Miners http://www.freemanseattle.com/collections/left-field/products/left-field-miner-chino-caramel-duck they had in 30 were actually tighter than the Kerouacs that I also tried on. I actually went back and they measured at 11" on the thigh, not close to the 11.75" posted on the LF site.
I've got a narrower waist but def some thighs. I wrote LF and got a response but Christian hasn't/won't respond to my asking for measurements on the thigh given my experience at Freeman.
Anyone have this version of the Miner and can help out? Annnnd how much should I expect these to shrink on cold wash, hang dry since they are raw?
Thanks!

Finally decided to get a new pair of ducks since I had some extra cash begging to be spent….ha.
I can't wait to see them in person tomorrow when I get them. Olive 13oz duck Miners, should be a great fit with a little extra room in the thigh compared to my IH, but only a little(so perfect).
If they are as good as I hope, I will post some up close pictures in a few days. Been dying for some olive ducks. Would love some ox blood duck jeans!

Just got the miner pants in….and what can I say but perfect fit, great hue to the olive, quite comfy for canvas and it seems to have a looser weave than compared to the LoomBreakers. These I believe are in between the LB and my Norman Porter duck pants I have. The NP are 12oz and these LF are 13oz....but the 13oz have a slightly more rigid and tighter weave(which I like). Just hope not too tight they won't be nice for the hot summer days.
I will also say, I have the duck that is on the IHJ 29(17oz) and the 13oz only sleems slightly lighter than the 17s feel and flexibility. So I really like this duck!
And these seem they will fade beautifully. Just the edges that have seen wear from making/processing have good contrast, can't wait to put in a good 3 weeks worth of wear!
Great fit! Fit right in with my IH 634s(tapered service about 9.25" knee and 8.5" hem).

I have the same pair of LF olive duck miner chinos too - I really like the cut and the fabric, a very nice pair of strides indeed.

While I am loving my ducks and new 14oz indigo indigo greaser jeans, the greasers back pocket potions aren't that great IMO….they are pretty much dead center and my ass don't like my wallet that I never really feel with my IH. Great little feature I never noticed really with my IH...the boss is smart!
The greasers rise is so perfect though, pants stay up an no need to tetuck my shirt even with all angles of bending over. Plus my nuts are more comfy ha.

I am still absolutely loving my olive miners and my black 12oz miners are my go to summer pants as they breath so nicely and are durable! Never had a pair of pants or jeans that can handle the summer heat/humidity and still take the abuse. I hope to see 10oz or maybe slightly lighter sometime in the future from Left Field, their cuts are PERFECT for me.
It is amazing how the cone mills 12oz feels so much lighter and breath better than the japense 13oz duck. The 13oz breaths pretty well, but the 12 is simply excellent. I am guessing it is down to the tightness of the weave. Which is why I have no idea how the 12s are so durable if they are looser.

These are tough ducks! I am pretty sure I wore these more than any IH denim/pant or my other Left Field pants. Tons of life left! Another year and the fades will be really good haha.

I think these guys need a bath tomorrow. One of my fav go to summer pants.

Still drying outside. They did give off a good bit of indigo.

Left Field is having 15% off all sale items. They have my fav summer pants still in size 35. Cone Mills black duck. So breathable and soft when broken in….the softest and tough!
Looking good

I've placed two orders with them over the last couple of months and I absolutely love them!
Bought an pair of White Oak Natural Indigo Cone Denim Atlas cut and its a true thing of beauty. I bought it as a seconds on their website but for the life of me I can't find a single flaw.
Price / quality wise, these guys are incredible.Their Loopwheeled Tshirts are a lot wider then the IH ones and not as tightly woven but build quality is top notch.
For size I'dd say check their size charts: they say they are not vainity sized but a 32 is actualy a 33 in waist so best size down a size from your IH size.

Would you say your LF chinos were fairly close to LF's product measurements? I'm really digging their 15oz N1 deck cord chinos and i'm thinking of trying a pair.
@manufc10 You just sold a pair of LF chinos right? How did they fit?
I just sold two pairs yeah. They are a pretty good fit but I honestly prefer the 3sixteen Chinos which is partly why I sold my Left Fields. They are nice, don't get me wrong, but the 3sixteen's are a better fit for me and the fabrics work better for me in the warmer Phoenix weather. The Left Fields I had were a heavier duck material.

Their N1 deck cord chinos look great in the coal miner fit, especially at 15oz. You went size 34 on your LF chinos right? Were the measurements similar to LF's fit chart? Debating on a size 35 since the hem is a little wider

Yeah I believe they were 34 on my Miner Chinos. I don't remember exact numbers regarding the actual measurements vs fit chart but I can tell you that I used the fit Left Field fit guide and it worked out first time. So I guess they must be close going by that logic.
