I got to see UK's finest crust punk band DOOM tonight at Pittsburgh Skullfest. It was absolutely the best punk show I have ever seen in my entire life! Besides Doom, Siege, Appalachian Terror Unit, and Behind Enemy Lines played. The venue had great sound and acoustics, and there was plenty of room (even though the show was sold out) and had one of the most violent mosh pits I've ever seen. I had a blast.
And I got this awesome hamd-painted Motorhead table from Dave T of Behind Enemy Lines. RIP Lemmy.

^ That table is rad!

The Foo Fighters are my current favorite band. They put on an amazing show. This is pretty cool.
saw them back in the mid 90's when they were touring the first album. one of the best shows I've been to. At the time I was blown away because I didn't know Dave Grohl could play the guitar let alone sing, so it was cool seeing him blow away my expectations. now they're a big stadium band so there's not much likelihood i'd pay hundreds of dollars to see them in concert. I think I paid less than $15 to see them back in those days.
One band I could be persuaded to pay big $$ to see is Nine Inch Nails. Missed them on the first Lollapalooza tour in the early nineties and never got around to seeing Reznor play live. Still love his stuff and it's cool that he's doing the soundtrack thing too.

For the longest time I confused Foo Fighters with The Goo Goo Dolls(Don't ask me why) By the time I had it figured out Foo Fighters were big stars. I borrowed some of their CDs from someone and have been a big fan ever since. Got to see them at a small(For them)arena 2 years ago when Dave had broken his ankle, and was performing from the throne. Believe me when I tell you I've seen just about everyone, and he showed more heart, sou, grit,l and determination, from that throne, than you can imagine. I refuse to go to stadium show,so it's not likely I'll ever get to see them again.

NIN is mind blowing live. I will go see them every time they come to town. I highly recommend checking them out if you have the opportunity.
