It seems like the shoulder and chest measurements are a little out of sync with a lot of IH shirts, will the new run be the same? I'm struggling with this one becuase the shoulders just don't measure right for me.
The measurements on this are a bit bigger than some of the other shirting, but personally I'm using this as an overshirt or shacket and it doesn't make all that much difference IMO. Gives me a bit more room for a heavy shirt or UHF underneath when it gets extra chilly. The weight of the fabric changes the shape of the shirt, so this doesn't "bag out" like a lighter fabric would. Gravity has a real impact on this stuff.
Hope that helps, the shoulder measurements looked big to me at first too. But it fits great.

Thanks for the input @budpatch!!! For a frame of reference, what size are you wearing in the pics, the fits looks good, and if you don't mind, can you give me a height/weight? I usually wear a medium in IH shirts and flannels. They fit great with a shoulder measurement of about 17.5 and a P2P of 21.5. I'm about 5'10 and 160. The medium and the large don't quite add up, but I'm leaning towards the medium.
No problem! I'm 6' and 160lbs and I think other than the sleeve length the Medium would have worked for me on this shirt too. I typically need as close to (or more than) a 26" sleeve as possible to accommodate my gorilla arms. That being said, I don't feel like I had to compromise at all, I'm really happy with the overall fit.
Hope that helps!

This is 18oz jean denim as opposed to 17oz shirting denim. That's about it!
And it feels like I've got a pair of pants on my arms…yessir!

I know it is technically a shirt, but the 178 is absolutely bad ass enough for a leather patch.
Loving this CPO.
