634+bb+1955=888s. Glad I went with my 634 size, probably could of sized down because there was no IH gauntlet of pain breaking these in like the 634s. Just a tab tight in the waist and thigh but after a day completely broken in. It was kinda hard to get the legs over my Wesco engineers which makes them easy to stack. Hope these stick around because I think I found my go to jeans.

Hope I don't get in trouble for this. Good for playing "Pocket Pool"
Stop or you'll go blind!
Also, it's important to coordinate w your furniture.

It's all down to perception I guess, but I'm certainly amongst those with a big, meaty butt and thighs and these are roomy af. I can do high kicks in them and all (If I wanted to). ???
I guess it comes down to people's opinions of what constitutes a big, meaty butt and thighs. When I was properly training I was far bigger in that region, and even now I don't fit these. Imagine if I slimmed my tummy back down to 34" again ???
Feel sympathy for my best mate, and former england badminton player, who had thighs only an inch smaller than his waist.

How are people liking the fit? The only pair I have are the Pronto Double Indigo Slims and I love the legs on them and just assume the top block will be a bit roomier.

Still loving the fit on mine. Haven't put them in regular rotation yet though, still wearing my 18oz vintage. The nights are finally starting to cool off in Phx though so it should be soon that they'll be put in rotation.

Size 36 measurements look perfect.
Looking forward to this cut in a variety of denims in the future.I tried a pair in a 36 yesterday, they fit perfect. Noticed IH Europe are out so just ordered them from rivet and hide. These are going to be favourite jeans along with my 555s!

^ It's a great cut. Congrats.
I was standing in front of a mirror in Rivet and Hide for about 10 minutes talking myself out of parting with £250 as I'd just bought my 526 19oz lefty type III and didn't think my good wife would appreciate the double purchase! that fit great and with the expected 1 inch stretch will be like a glove. I'm 6'2" and 16 st, and I find that a lot of jeans have to wider leg opening for my tastes for a larger waist size (I swing between a 36 and 38). The 36 in this cut are snug, but I cold instantly tell the stretch I'd get in time with wear.
As naff as some people think it I really like matching double denim, and these will go great with my lefty, and my lefty goes great with my 555s.
The funny thing is I went in R & H for a pair of Viberg engineer boots and came away with a new jacket and jeans combo! Iron Heart strikes me again!!

Nobody here came blame you @Stuart.T and you made a good choice picking up a pair of the 888. It's such a damn good cut and I can't wait for more 888 denims.

You'll get all the stretch you need I assure you. Also, dare to double denim!

That's good news

I think that's bad news. I hope that future runs in other denim are true to original concept.

Nope. Decided to stay with the measurements of the first batch….
Personally, that makes me happy. I underestimated the 21oz again and need to flip my W35 and size down. This is such a good cut. Perfect balance between waist and thigh, and the higher rise makes them very stylish.

Are you normally a 34 in most other IH cuts?
