10/03/2017:
Tuesday's usually are my morning to open up the gym, but since my coach was sick last week, he wanted to make up the hours yesterday… I easily obliged and slept in a bit longer and got the kids ready for Pre-School:
What I was wearing:
Avery hates the rear facing seat in my car…
When I got home I made breakfast again:
Went and got a hair cut:
My barber just picked up this 2013 Triumph Bonneville T100 this weekend so I asked him to bring it to the shop so I could see it. It was super clean and the black out Package looked great:
Around 3pm I headed to the gym and opened up for afternoon sessions:
Had a snack
Closed up for the night
Came home and had some brisket and smashed potatos and Lagunitas IPA - over all a solid day. About to head to the beach for work, so I'll be sure to snag some photos of the Alabama Gulf Coast for today's update!

Looks like nori- pressed and dried seaweed.
-
@Chris is correct - sesame oil and sea salt dried nori - when I was little, my family was stationed in Arizona and my best friend was this little kid from Hawaii who's mother was Japanese. She fed us these nori crackers like crazy and I've had a habit of eating them ever since.

Much appreciated rocket! I got some good shots from today's work down at the beach, so tomorrow Mornings upload should be decent

10/04/2017 Part 1:
Once every two weeks I check into my office in Gulf Shores, a beach community along the Alabama Gulf Coast. My first job when I moved here was working in marketing for a vacation rental company, and when I bought into the CrossFjt Gym in my town and gave my two weeks notice, they didn't let me quit. The cr been working remotely since 2012 and continue to make the trek twice a month or so to ensure the VPs remember who I am hahaI usually try and dress smart to add to my status as "myth" around the office since most people that are relatively knew have no clue what I actually look like ha
My morning drives aren't too bad
I woke up early to drive to the little neighboring town of Fairhope to grab an espresso from my favorite coffee shop
This place was founded decades ago as a "utopian" society for artists and has a lot of small town quirks in place today. Even a lot of the homes are on "leased" land that the township still "owns" so you only get a 99year deed on the land…
Needless to say, it has some of the highest property values in the state. Not New York or cali prices, but 2-3x the price per square foot for tiny little cottages. I'll try and get some
Pictures on Friday when I go to the art walk and go see the realty company I will be working with next year (if and when I get all my licensing done)Sadly, the shop was closed… even though I showed up 10 minutes after they were supposed to open
I cut my losses and headed towards the Gulf
Arrived down at the beach and got settled in and decided the weather was nice so I went and took some promotional shots for social media stuff
Funny to think they shove 35k people
On this very plot of beach every year for the Hangout Music & Arts festival every May. It's a phenomenal festival and some of the most fun I have ever had.…continued...

10/04/2017 Part 2:
Since the main Public beach was a little busy, I went to my favorite spot to take some more photos:
Driving back I took a pic of one of my favorite condos, Crystal Tower - rates are cheap because it's across the street from the beach, but you have this air conditioned over walk that leads to a Gulf front Pool, Hot Tub, lazy river and beach access
After conference calls with photographers and some email design work, I headed home. But first, lunch:
Saw this slammed civic with wannabe type r badges on my way home. I'm into that stuff, so figured I'd share
Went and coached one class at the gym and then took the kids to their favorite place… the car wash
They love the Open Sky roof in the wash haha
Came home and had one of Milwaukees finest
Gave the kids a bath and decided to have a decent beer while they play a bit before bed
That's it for today.
Hopefully going to check out a new (well, actually quite old haha) truck tomorrow, so hopefully I'll get some more pics of Mobile!
Good night forum friends!

Well, as some of you know, there is a Hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico and set to pretty much hit us directly. Since a good chunk of my time is spent working for a vacation rental company, it's been a busy two days, to say the least. We had a nearly full
Weekend of guests coming to stay in our 700+ beach homes and condominiums, and Nate is scaring a good number of people away, which it should. My family should be fine since we are nearly 45 minutes from the Gulf, so it will slow down a lot once it makes landfall. Looks like New Orleans is going to get hit pretty hard, so my thoughts and prayers are with those in NOLA tonight and tomorrow.
Anyways, since I've been running around like crazy, I haven't been able to get a lot of good pics, but here is a fun collection of stuff taken over the last two days:
Clients new Truck - 7.3L Diesel with Garrett Turbo.
Another clients truck - Diesel Cayenne (we don't see these often)
For Seul
Dinner last night with my wife
I'll keep you guys posted on any craziness that happens with the storm!

Stay safe mate, all the best to your family and friends, and thanks for another stellar update.
-
Thanks guys - it shouldn't be too bad for us, but it will probably cause some damage along the beaches.
I need to go make sure I buy a couple more cases of beer and a new bottle of whiskey for the possible lock down… you know... #preparedness

I hate hurricanes with a passion. I hope to never go through another. Stay safe.
