DOUBLE DUCK 634 WORLD TOUR

Sounds good! I'll pm @DanielAFC my address.

And last but certainly not least a post wash update on where the ducks stand! They are looking pretty damn good and are still holding up really well structurally for how much they've gone through. Not even really a sign of any holes yet other than the hidden rivets starting to peak which just looks badass. The different hues of blue and white really need to be seen to be appreciated and the patch is looking unreal. I'm going down to Portland this week to see the war on drugs and eat too much food, if they are going to someone in the states now I'll take them down and send them off so there's no mess around with customs and huge delay with the border. I'll probably throw up some photos of some Portland stuff in here as well as a bonus for taking so long!

Great photos @DanielAFC ! The food and biking looks incredible.
Where is your new retail/eatery located? I am in Van for an art show this weekend and I will try to stop in for a burger.
cheers!

Hey Mitchell thanks! Was certainly a full morning uploading everything but at least it's warm now! The shop is in North Van at 180 Donaghy, in behind capilano mall. Be sure to let me know if you stop by!
I'll send the ducks off to @streetshark later this week then as today is a holiday and I'm leaving for Portland tomorowb before the sun is up! Pretty rad that they'll be going for one side of the country to the other!

I enjoyed your writeup @DanielAFC and loved the looks of all that meat. If I make it to Vancouver I'll be sure to drop by to try out your stuff. Well done!

Perfect! I'm excited to see how they're looking in person and spend a month beating them up.

So the jeans showed up about a week ago! So far I've worn them while doing some renovations to the house I bought a few months ago as well as at work. I didn't get any picture while doing the renos but I did manage to get some pictures at work. I'm an electrician in the truck shop at an open pit mine. I usually work on 200-300 ton trucks and some times the front end loaders used to load them. I'll try and post again in a few weeks!
-
Fucking hell - you work on some serious machinery!.. Can't wait for more pics!..
Yeah I've only been working this job for about 5 months now so I'm still in awe with it all myself! Im hoping to get into the field sometime this month so I can get some pictures of the mine itself.

That would be mental. I’d love to see it.

Is that the engine out of the truck?

Is that the engine out of the truck?
Yup! Most of them run Cummins V16 ~2400hp diesel engines driving generators which power electric wheel motors.

My work week is almost over (work Wednesday to Tuesday) so I decided I'd post the pictures I've taken since my last post.
Had to replace a burned up wire harness for the fuel injectors.
Relaxing on the truck frame with the double ducks poking out.
This is a grid box we rebuilt, it is basically 4 banks of resistors that are used in the braking of the trucks.
The summer before last a haul truck ran over a pickup truck. The person in the truck was was less than a couple feet from the tire crushing them.
I did manage to get into the field but didn't make it into any of the pits. In the background you can see a waste dump.
I'll try and get some pictures of home renos in the next week, maybe try to get a fit picture which I've been putting off because I find them awkward haha

This is so good. It all looks like something out of a 70’s sci-fi movie. That crushed truck is mental. Keep it coming @_streetshark [emoji1434]

Started the day by painting some trim
Managed to get a walk in with the dogs
I little shot of the double ducks ft. my buffalo check UHF
Put down the trim after the walk
Now it's time to relax with a glass of whiskey (and water)
