Overall, at the moment, I'm not as stoked as most fella's here are. I think these 34's are a size too big in the waist and top block, but the thighs down are good. But if I had gone with a 33 I'd have thighs on the tight side. I'm fearful that once the denim stretches out and relaxes, I'm gonna have saggy crotch and diaper butt due to the high rise. I'll give them another hot wash soon to get any remaining shrink out, but I don't expect much more. When I get them hemmed 1" shorter I'll probably feel better about them.
We are in the same boat. My 33s are pretty restrictive in the thighs, and i'm planning to hit the weights this winter. With tight thighs it definitely seems to put a lot of tension on the crotch. Debating trying some 34s an managing with a looser waist.

@mpukas in my experience, this particular denim won't stretch much (besides the waist) if no hard resistance
is constantly applied to it like in the case in a tight fit. That said, you can probably squeeze out more shrink if you hot wash it (60 C). It shouldn't ruin the denim if you soak it properly before hand.
I'd say give it a try.. the top block can afford to tight up a bit in my view but it looks good as is, all a matter of personal preferenceSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What can I say, I'm an IH bitch… I had to sell my 888S for being too big so it ended up being a no-brainer. I'm going to challenge the stretch here though as I've effectively sized down one ???

“Had to sell” “ no brainer” … those are buzzword excuses for FOMO. But you made the
Right choice. You’re the last person who needs telling. -

Right choice. You’re the last person who needs telling. The most embarrassing thing about all this isn't he flip flopping it's that I f**ked up the sizing of the 888S. I've had two pairs of 21oz so I know how that shit does…. still didn't manage to get it right. I'm excited now though.
(I also suffer from FOMO like no other)::) -
It’s funny how that works. I know the stretch of the 21 oz now but I guarantee I fuck it up next time. I lost 4 inches in waist in last 2 months and will def get too big next time. Congrats man. FOMO is part of the human condition.

Thank you, sir! A friend of mine calls that thing you mention FFS (Former Fatboy Syndrome), I used to be a w38…

Hoping I can get a bit more shrink out of the replacement pair the shop that fudged my hem is getting; I put the short pair on to get used to the weight and the top block feels a bit loose. I read somewhere on the forum that UHR doesn't get all of the shrink out until the 3-4 soak/wash so here's to hoping for that. :-\
-
@Jordanxbuffer , it does take a few washes/ soaks to get all the shrink out.
@neph93 , so you're joining up for the contest right ?

I’m wearing the ones the tailor screwed up and they’re so soft. When does the pain start? Hah.

Shocked and pleasantly surprised at how fast these are fading. Faster than any Iron Heart pair I have ever had.
-
I'm so excited for this cut to be released in an OD and I/I version.
