IH-888-NT - 21/23oz indigo Selvedge DWC Jeans
-
It’s the magic of UHR. If I wear IH 21oz for work and lounging around in the weekend it would take me 60 days wear to get where yours are now. I have to do building work to get it to fade properly. Which I actually love because 21oz fades are beautiful, but that’s another story.
I have a pair of BB UHR that are too big and got washed on 40C once, 60C twice and had two hot soaks to get all shrinkage out. I’ve worn them for about 60 days over the course of the last 18 months and they’re my second most faded jean. I might mostly sit on my arse and go down the shops in them. Madness.

Crappy low light pics but here goes:
I'm really liking this cut. The rise length just hits the sweet spot for me, super comfortable and looks great. The top block is relaxed without looking loose or distracting from the overall slim (on me) silhouette. One feature I count as a real blessing is the dept of the front pockets. Thanks goodness these are deep and easy access enough to put your hands in, for once!

Beautiful fit @zatenm - they look great with the 137!

Got some extra shrinkage in the length last night… sitting in the rain at work.

Is that Elland Road Joe?
-
No, it’s Loftus Road.
-
Is it just me or does anyone else have baggy crotch syndrome on the front rise? Maybe that’s how they’re supposed to be or I just need to get more shrink. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
-
Yes, they do have a slight ''anti-fit'' in that area.
I like “anti-fit” hah. Thanks for clarifying.

I believe, The cut was designed to have a but if a higher rise. IH is def not a one cut fits all type of company.

It definitely was, I’m probably just used to more restrictive top blocks from years of attempting to fit myself into pants.

@steelworker your plaid shirt is pretty sweet.

Thanks Mike I like it extravagantly, sleeves are a little too long but I don't care.

How quickly will these stretch back to pre soak measurements in waist and thighs??
-
^ No guarantee they will, especially not in the thigh. But normally 10-14 days solid wear will get you all the stretch you need (or are likely to get). I’m on day four with mine, they shrunk over an inch in the waist and .4” in the thigh. Both have loosened a little but are nowhere near what they were raw yet.
