New member "Getting To Know You" World Tour

That’s so cool. This world tour idea is brilliant. Whoever came up
With the original idea is a god damned visionary. -
you're probably a god damned visionary -
definitely not not a visionary???? lolUp early here at 4 in Ohio, USA wearing the IHSH-62ind and breaking in the gear with some excellent fresh ground beans from Maas Coffee in Fort Walton Beach, FL. It’s Maas Jazz aka “crack coffee” which I believe is their best seller. My in-laws live in Destin, FL and we all love this little coffee roaster. The owner is usually there and is one of those Iron Heart level customer service/quality guys, and he’s always been very kind to me whenever I stop in, which is appreciated. My in-laws send my wife and I fresh beans when they go
My wife works early hours so I get up with her (sometimes ) and do whatever until I go to work. This morning I’m doing some cleaning and purging of unneeded stuff around the house — we are newlyweds so after moving all of our stuff in together now plus a lot of wedding gifts, I’m finding out there isn’t nearly as much room for all my shit anymore! but, as I am lucky to be able to wear Iron Heart to work every day, it’s basically all I’ve been wearing. A lot of stuff I’ve had for years, but it’s time to let it go. I’m lucky to have a big family with lots of nephews, so I am going to hand most of it down, which makes it much easier. Plus, it will be fun to see them wear it and enjoy it as I once did (and add some evo, lol)
More to come — I apologize if I get too lengthy (for some) as I really enjoy reading and writing and my wife and I both do it as a hobby/creative outlet and she as part of her career. It also translates to me never shutting up as I work in a one man sales band and I’m constantly talking to people in person or on the phone. It’s one of the reasons why my wife loves me; and sometimes hates me.

much love to all mad-folks

P.S. I normally drink good coffee black and only with half and half otherwise but the spoon felt natural there (for any coffee snobs out there)
Perhaps not a snob, but I do like my coffee like my soul: black and bitter. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Much love in return @madmonday thanks for your constant inspiration. Your outfits are always killer.
I’m up early again today having coffee in the 07 with my cat Moby now that the wife is gone. I’ll see if he will wear the bandana!
The tour came to me at an interesting time as my work is going well so we are moving to a new office today! It’s on the same property but a much nicer building with a nice big corner office for me, so I’m excited about that. It will be much better than the trailer that has been our office — but I’m grateful for the office that was and the use it served, as sometimes it’s best to stay below your means as long as possible, especially in business. The photo of the mug on my desk was the last photo I took in my old office after 7 years there.
Would it be weird if I hung the new IH blanket as a tapestry behind my new desk? I’m trying to think of ways to decoratively display my IH shirts in my office where I can also casually grab them for wear, like a sexy coat hanger if that sort of thing exists!

New office and new to me desk. This was a pizza shop when I was growing up that was built way larger than it needed to be for the tiny one stop light town I live in. Overhead and competition eventually ate them up and now the building has become a part of our business. I was in the same class as the owner of this shop’s son and we played baseball, basketball, and football together so I spent a fair amount of time here when it was a pizza shop, so it’s especially strange now that it’s been converted into my office. It’s still a welcome change though and I’m already more excited to get up for work in the morning and pour some coffee in my IH mug.
It’s probably time I find that sexy coat hanger so I can keep part of my IH shirt collection at work, you know, just in case I need to mix up my outfits during the day the bare spot on the wall there will be a painting of some sort, or an IH blanket/tapestry. everyone enjoy your Saturday!

Great shots of Moby.

@neph93 I am in northwest Ohio. It’s really flat with a lot of crop fields and cattle farms here. I’m just a little west of Toledo, 2.5 hrs from Detroit (Lions and Tigers fan) and Columbus, Ohio (Buckeye fan lol). I was born and raised in what used to be the Black Swamp and most of the little towns where I’m at have moved on from the glory days of the railroad and canal and are now one stoplight villages with farms all around.
As for what I do, we will just say it involves buying and selling things, usually with motors but sometimes without, with 2 or more wheels, lol. I can relate somewhat to the IH family as I work with myself and 3 family members as well as two other employees. It can be tough working with family at times (mostly my brother lol) but also rewarding as there is a certain level of trust and accountability that’s really hard to replicate. And we make a pretty good team so that helps too, lol.
Moby is just spoiled and has never worn a collar because he hasn’t been outside since we got him from the shelter! Once he realizes how sick he looks in IH gear I’m sure he will be all for it might have to make him a denim IH collar from some hem trimmings…new way to sell leftover denims for IH??
