whoa. that must've been a very stress inducing experience. home repairs are bad enough but home repairs due to mother nature are another thing entirely.

cleaned up already as it happened last night when everyone was sleep and there was no way I would leave it like that.
funny as hell cause i slept through it and my wife woke me up with the "what the hell was that noise"just a temp fix of garbage bags, cardboard boxes, painters tape and staples but it keeps the elements out. going to get more heavy duty garbage bags and some duck tape to seal things off until i can get contractors out here to give me a few estimates.
i filed a claim with my insurance but the deductible for acts of god makes it as i might as well take care of it out of pocket.
i found myself hanging out downstairs for a while to appreciate having heat upstairs and having a reason for wearing my heavy duty goodies. goes with my insane concept of actually appreciating stuff that we can control and the way we approach things we can not control.
plus writing about it is a great release for me and keeps me in a good place
now if i can only get a pair of UHR 21/23 denim in the 555 cut with stealth arcs and the cut as intended on a 30" inseam the world would be perfect, hahahahaha

I started a new thread to explain some stuff about the navy and my job for those that are curious and don't mind a little naval gazing.
-
I asked that same question when I was a young lad, to a Master Chief, and he quickly (and sternly) corrected me and said, "No, it's Master Chief."
Geez, it's like the Navy doesn't even want to be fun.

I'm trying to decide what shirts to pack. Decided on the Black 64, gray ombre UHF, and the 18 oz CPO, I can't remember the model number. I will probably end up just wearing my indigo hoodie anyway. I've lived in that since I got it. Left behind 9 other Iron Heart shirts.
I think I might be having a big shirt sale when I get home.

When the wife buys a new couch in a shade that is perfect for indigo ruboff. Looks like I'm relegated to the black chair.
