Hi Max power. You've been to crypt of the wizard?! Keep meaning to check that shop out as I'm not too far from Hackney really.
I've got some 70/80s black Sabbath and Moorhead pins to put on it. The back patch on your black vest looks particularly good…I recognised most of the other bands...is that a band patch or a general one?
Rocking my vest over my schott perfecto biker jacket today. Had a couple of compliments already. F'in great vest. Might even get an xl for milder weather with just a t-shirt (tried one, bit snug and short for a hoodie).

@Stuart.T Crypt of the wizard is an awesome shop, really worth a visit, especially if you're not far from hackney. Ive become a huge fan of that area with the small farm on the other side of the road and dark arts coffe around the corner.
The large backpatches are some old etsy finds, i think by fennec design (?)

This is TTS for me (44). It's pretty roomy in the chest, which means great movement, but is slim through the mid section and waist. I had the Xl (42) but couldn't button i past the chest on Heavy shirts, thus rendering it useless for me in most occasions. I know everyone says to size down, but my normal IH size seemed to work best for what I was looking for.
@neph93 - since you rock vests over Tshirts alot, I think a Large (40) would work pretty well for you. This one was used a lot, so it's already pretty soft and pliable. When these are new, they are unforgiving lol

How much room to you have when it is buttoned up ? It is always personal preference, but from the pics I would say you could go one down.
I've got room, but not a ton. I would mostly be wearing this with either a hoodie or heavy flannel under it. Maybe occasionally with just a t-shirt. My biggest concerns are the shoulders, and the length, which according to the measurement chart are an inch smaller on the XL. I don't imagine I'd see much shrink (never had anything in this denim) with a really hot soak. It's not overly big, I just want it to be a tiny bit trimmer.

I also think you could size down - shoulders won't be much of an issue with a vest IMO.

Hey dude. I'm 6'2 and 15st9lb. I wear a xxl but thanks to the good folks at IH UK got chance to try an xl too. For me it was slightly too tight. I could only wear a t shirt under it. The shoulders on the xxl are my only concern, they flair out very slightly over my shoulders. Ideally the collar to shoulder could be 1 inch shorter. Over a hoodie or leather it is great though, and that's one of the reasons I wanted it.
Against advice I have it a full cycle on 60 degrees C, no spin cycle. I got some pretty nice grey fades in certain areas. I'll have a better idea tonight when it's dry and I take it out it the warm airing cupboard.
I'm not advocating this for you though. Don't do it if you need black to mean black.
