Self Edge x Iron Heart = SEXIH22-301s

The communication was quite quick and easy via Facebook. I contacted him with some pictures of the holes. He gave me a cost estimation (80EUR inkl. back-shipment) which was kept and a time estimation 2-3 weeks. Then I sent the jeans directly to him on 9th of March and received it back on the 3rd of April (inkl. shipment Germany - Netherlands).

@beef_bonanza your jeans look awesome.
I have a pair of these that I will now wear just because of your pictures. How often did you wash?
I ask because your patch is still beautiful & my leather patches are always destroyed no matter how I launder my denim
-
Thanks a lot 8).I gave them one initial soak and two cold machine washes. No special treatment for the patch.
-
Gotta pop them Tongues on the J3's
-
Those look great, @housekeys. Nice work!
-
100 further effective wear days down the line and off for their 3rd wash tomorrow.
Happy 2018 to everyone!

Amazing fades, @beef_bonanza
Here’s to a “faded” 2018 lol

That's a garage door opener. Despite the appearance, that probably was installed professionally. I know ours looked almost identical after paying an "expert" to put it in…

Yes @hajduk , we are Americans. ::) Full disclosure: I have a garage opener too.

For us, less astute observers, what denim did you score?
Edit–just checked the title thread! Haha
Great pick up!! -
It’s 20oz LHT grey weft unsanforized
It was used on the 301 and 633 cuts from Self Edge only.

Yep - how it came when we bought the house NWT [emoji23]
My folks have one of the fancy side mounted rollers and it is night and day much quieter and cleaner they appear. Of course, our builder could have cared less about anything other than handing over the keys as fast as they could…

Hmmm, sounds like I have research to do on openers. In theory, we'll be in the market for one in 4-5 months.
Our old place had a detached garage and the opener was still loud enough to hear inside the house.

Good move Chris. Find a quiet one if you can… when I was growing up a loud garage door opener was the herald of my parents coming home. Which meant I was able to hide the various things that needed hiding before they got inside the house. God bless that damn opener.
