IH-777-XHS - 25oz Selvedge Denim Super Slim Tapered Jeans - Indigo
-
There might actually be a tag size 31 waist that is a little bit bigger than the published measurements.I have and love these jeans, they didn’t stretch that much, but I went true to size. They do shrink in length a little more than the 21OZ denim. The guys at IHUK would be better at advising you on what your waist measurement options are. You might also check out the Pronto 25OZ XHS. GOOD LUCK.
How much did yours shrink in the inseam?

I want to jump into the world of 25oz and think that the 777 fit will be the best for me!
Just a quick question : I have a doubt for the size I should go with… 31 or 32?
I measured the waist (following video guidelines) of my 555 for comparaison :
my 555 measure 84 cm at the waist and for the 777 the waist for size 31 is 82 cm and 85.1 for size 32.Since i am not an expert with denim shrinkage, stretch, etc (especially for this kind of beast ) i am asking advices!
Will size 31 can stretch the 2 cm needed in the waist since size 32 is out of stock?
I would go for the 32 if the thigh measurements are good. I'm not sure what your body type is but the 777 are a muuuuuch lower rise than your 555's which means that they will sit at a point that's lower on your waist/hips which is potentially a larger measurement than your actual waist. Also the 25oz denim is well…thick....so to err on the side of caution I would advise going larger than smaller.
Just my two cents. Also keep in mind I'm a guy that generally doesn't prefer the sometimes painful "buy small and stretch method."

Thanks guys for your advices!
So for 25oz jeans go larger than smaller, notedAnd last but not least,if you want to wait until the Fall, there will be 25OZ Shadow Selvedge denim in the 555 cut.
oooh didn't know about that! :0
Makes choice even more difficult. -

Makes choice even more difficult.I went larger in fear of them being too uncomfortable and regretted it and had to sell them. I miss them but they just got too big. The fabric gives and stretches for sure.
I sized true to size to start. If I were to try them again I would order a size down. This also depends on other areas and what you want fit wise, just my experience.

Ok I'm not Mr 555. I just have a couple pairs. I just have to say I couldn't imagine the 555 in 25/OZ unless l
sized up for more room in the leg and knee….then you take a real good chance of the dreadful Diaper
butt...the 555 is a skinny jean for people that are really not skinny unlike the 666 top block which I feel is for
skinny/slim folks. If I go for a heavy slim it would be the 777 or the PIHXHS a bit more forgiving in the leg and
knee....my 3 cents.

Went ahead and deleted this post cuz it was stupid

Ya know after I said that I thought of you and potential offense but you’re clearly not egg shaped. Not to mention you’re in better shape at 60 than I am at 41. Sorry for any offense.
-
The 666 is my favorite cut and I’m highly offended.
-
I offer the same apology. You’re surely not Humpty Dumpty
-
I believe the 666 waist is cut that way so you can have a tailored Jean but still tuck in a shirt for smart casual wear. That’s how I always take it - I’ve enjoyed my 666 cuts for that very reason.

Very nice. What's your deciding factor when it comes to washing.

just when I can't take it…and spot cleaning and natural patchouli and cedar wood spray doesn't freshen them up anymore lol
