IHSB-C3J - Simmons Bilt/Iron Heart C3 Jacket
-
@Streetwise:
I want one of these.
Can be organised….
When the boy is out of GOSH (and hopefully the woods) and I am able to go back to work, I look forward to saving some pennies for next winter.

Congratulations on the purchase.
Really impressed by the quality and feel of the jacket.
I own the vest and the quality of the sheepskin really is impressive, both sides seems immaculate and are crazy tactile. Add to that the brilliant taping and stitching and you have a top quality, classic bit of kit for life.
I had a sheepskin jacket as I kid that my boys will inherit as soon as they're big enough. Would be great to pass down another one later in life.

Unfortunate for @meckintosh and embarrassingly for me, the beaut of a jacket above does not fit him.
I'm going to get a new one made for him.
Anyone interested in the one that does not fit?
Approx 1 size too large for me.
We'll publish sizing when we get it back…
@Giles was this snapped up?

Thanks @Disheveled @rocket @neph93 ! My intention is to make it my winter daily beater and finally give my 5 year old N-1 a well-deserved break..
@tmg @Streetwise Hercules I say don't hesitate… as long as you live somewhere cold enough!
That's a lot of jacket/warmth for money, super comfy and functional and very impressive in the flesh.. a very happy customer right there -
I live about 30 miles north west of London and was wondering how much of the year I could likely use it.
Any ideas? -

We still have it here. USD750 - Payment plan can be discussed

Thanks chaps.
@Giles you're dangerous. What you need is me after a few beers, but I'm staying dry until Archie comes home at least.
When I drop my 666s down for you to darn, it'd be rude not to try it on though; It's almost exactly as I'd want mine and I'm a size up from you usually.
I can't commit more than that right now, but if a few more stars align it's a long overdue present to myself. -
Thank you Giles.

Of the one that @Streetwise Hercules is after or mine?

The outlet one I was thinking. This is more for fit/spec (not to snipe @Streetwise Hercules dream jacket), so maybe a couple of your personal jacket - when you get a chance…
-
Ha ha!
I've no claim on that jacket.
If anybody wants to get in there, don't miss out on my account. -

Any ideas?@Streetwise Hercules From my experience in London, I’d say 3 months at least: Dec-Jan-Feb.
You can rock it with a light T-shirt /office shirt if the winter happens to be mild.
I can see myself wearing it from 5 degrees C and below but the next couple of weeks should confirm that for me..I’m now in Toronto which is colder for longer but in retrospect I would have bought the jacket if I were still in London. Definitely wearable in the city for me. Hopes this helps..

Thanks mate.
I work in films so spend a fair amount of time outside on set. Some days I'll be running around the place, other times stood pretty still for bloody hours. Obviously in winter that can be grim.
Snuggling up inside it in just a T-shirt is definitely part of the plan.
