@QuantumMechanic I had a pair of those years ago and threw them out as the soles split. I didn’t realised they could be re soled. I follow this guys work on instagram.. pretty impressive..

These are 14" Boss I picked up in the US a few years ago.  Very comfy and I really like the feeling of the longer leg against my calf.  I wouldn't ever wear them like the last two pics, but nowt wrong with looking at them.

Great stuff. Had my Boss on today and the Black oil tan is an underrated leather in that it looks underwhelming on pics but is so bloody meaty and so bloody black in real life. I love it.

Feel ya, they add a nice ruggedness to any boot.  Just like the type of footwear really sets the tone of a 'fit, the type of sole sets the tone of the boot in the same way

@Dishelveled - I agree. The form of the boot determines how your jeans/pants will lay, and thus influencing the entire silhouette.

FYI, I think we should revive this thread to the glory it once was.
