I can vouch for @DK being an upstanding gentleman. I’m excited to see him spotlight Berkeley with his leg of the tour. Most beautiful town I’ve been to - was so close to going to school there (well, next door lol)

Thanks for the kind words, Adam. This might actually be one of the few places that the jacket might get a decent amount of wear even in the summer months, which is how it looks to work out. Cheers!

The lovely Kate and-the jacket.

I'm wearing the jacket to Blake's "dark Satanic Mills". I'll try not to get grease or oil on it. The OD is so dark no one will know for years, :D.
However it will get very very dirty. -

Operator taking ladle from preheater. Ladles are heated to 2200F before being sent to furnace. Ladles are about 18 ft. high, there's a man at the hook for scale.

Yeah dude! This is awesome! What a start!!

He is running the loco but yeah, I don't get that either. He can run the loco from the cab but mostly they run it with a hand held control box. It's supposed to be a safety thing. They can walk up to ten miles a turn over uneven ground and dark yards.
doesn't seem safe to me.
