IH-634-DD - Indigo/Indigo 16.5oz Duck Straight Cut Jeans
-
The selvedge version was woven in a tiny "house factory" husband and wife team, with 3 looms. It has no name…..Well, it's referred to as the Japanese equivalent of "John Does place". Then we bust to loom, the non-selvedge version was probably woven at Kuroki....
Thanks G! You da man!

cross-post from the SuFu WAYFT thread—finally starting to see a little color pop through on these after a couple months' wear

^ @julian-wolf wow, I like your style. (I envy those who can pull off Long hair that well.)

Thanks, Max. Honestly, these jeans are pretty far on the slim side of what I prefer, but they look damn good for it…

So mad my 35s don't fit, well they do but are really tight in thighs and waist….even the new 36s I have feel as snug. Might have to sell the 35s as I don't think I can get that small again Hope I can make the 36s stretch a bit...my luck...errrr I should say appetite, ha.

Contrary to the posts in the first few pages of this thread, I've found mine to not shrink or stretch all that much. Over the course of maybe half a dozen washes, the inseam's gone down 1.75" and the waist has remained constant to within measuring error. I, too, was hoping for a little more give.

Let me know which u are selling @Jordonf9
Sorry they aren’t fitting.

I would say for me, the ducks do stretch slightly….for me mostly in thigh and knee area, but no in waist. Shrinkage is minimal except ininseam.
I am actually going through and measuring a few bottoms soon and will see how close my 35 are to the 36. The 35 had some wear, while the 36 are brand new. I love this fabric... seriously tough and beautiful.
-
I had a pair arrive today and after hand washing and hot soaking, I got 1.5" exactly shrink in the inseam and less than a quarter inch in the waist.
I bought true to size, so the shrink and stretch should cancel each other out.

I think is a pretty good rule of thumb with any stf jeans.
