@Dishelveled they look awesome mate!!

Copped my pair in-store at Division Road today to celebrate their carrying of IH goods.
They get to join the rotation with my IH-555S-BLK and IH-555-01s. I'm very f'n partial to black though, and they'll likely become the rotation.

I have been looking at these for weeks, I am planning on getting some to wear in the office and will be tucking a shirt in, so I am thinking the slightly more generous sizing will work for me. I have some 32's in the 555-01, and am looking at the 32's in the 555-03, they have a 34.0 and 34.4 waist respectively, which I think will work in the way I want to wear them…
... the one slight dilemma I have is the rise, the 555-03 have best part of half an inch extra on the front and an inch at the back... in the past I have found this gives the feeling of a tighter waist band...
... any one found this when comparing the to 555-1 cut?
Best regards,
Chris -
Why they are oversized does not really mattter, fact is they are. Effing irritating, but fact….
On the next run what are the chances of getting the waist to the correct tag size?

It would be great if they could become more true to tag size in the future. I also think that right now the back rise is disproportionally high for such a slim cut. The latest runs of the 555-01 and 555S-16 have very good 555-measurements. A smaller hem for a consistent taper would be the icing on the cake, though.

It's actually a good idea if I may say so: after the current 555-03 has been sold out you could rename it for the new run as e.g. 555-SBG. Buyers could more easily identify its denim then and the tweaked cut. Same with the 555S-21 to become more streamlined with the rest of the line-up.

Great suggestion. And start getting the SBG’s once washed too, maybe?

Makes sense, most of the other models are and unwashed SBG isn't pulling in the 'raw' market so there is no tangible benefit.

Tangible? Is that like a cross between a tangerine and an apple? I like apples.

Tag 32 shrink results are in:
That is quite encouraging. I’ve held off wearing mine as I bought without taking shrinkage in to account and they are a little too slim already. But I should be able to get away with that much shrink for the time it takes to stretch out again.

^Noice.
@neph93 You can minimize shrinkage when you wash them at 30° C or even cold. Soaking them prior to washing is mandatory. So far I lost ~1,5'' inseam at 40° C and ~1,77'' at 60° C on my pairs. I'm sure one can even reach the full 2'' if anyone dares to nuke them at 90° C. So one more vote for onewashed SBG here.
