Hi there Kyle and welcome. At least you know you’re not alone in the rabbithole. Plenty of folks here with a similar experience.

A few hours drive from IHUK headquarters.
South West Wales
Pembrokeshire?
No. Used to be Ceredigion but now Carmarthenshire.
Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch is a name designed only to attract tourists into Anglesey, over the bridge where they charge your ass money for crossing lol.

Hi Kyle, welcome to “YourScrewedVille.”

Welcome @lester_galula. After discovering IH you’ll soon forget what money looks like, feels like, and if plastic should be this putty-like substance while drowning in a new wardrobe. Win-win if you ask me.

Checking in from the South Bay of sunny California! Just bought my first pair of Iron Heart 777-14 for that year round versatility! Been wearing it all week to break in the waist (which is improving daily)!

Very wise to get 14oz in Cali.
Nov - April you might get away with the heavy stuff though.
But to be honest if I was in Cali I would be in tee-shirt and shorts all year round lol.
Your winter is better than my summer -

Welcome! Where in the South Bay?

Welcome! Where in the South Bay?
I work in San Jose and live around Mountain View. Moved out here from NYC many years ago. California is the best!

Your winter is better than my summerI am actually having a dilemma right now with eyeing a denim shirt. It started with me just wanting a denim jacket but i thought to myself… i'll never fade a jacket because i won't want to wear it. Now i moved on to a denim shirt which is much more likely to be worn once a week at the very least (air conditioned work place in the summer).

Yes make sure you`re going to wear it plenty. Perhaps get the shirt first and see how that goes and get a jacket later on at some point if you still want one.

Well, to be precise. Bristol, New York, population 2,282 and declining, in the heart of the Finger Lakes.
And despite being a bit further south than Gosport, UK, I'd bet the farm (we have one of those…) that it's might bit colder. Perfect for 25oz IH. -
Hi!
My name is Anders and live in Bergen, Norway.
I'm an IT architect at a local bank and living on the edge everyday wearing denim in a white shirt/blue suit work environment.
I'm new to the heavy weight shirts/jeans/everything and find it very hard to decide on my first steps into this world. I've been lurking on most threads to gather info on shrinkage, sizing and fading and ended up more confused than before.
Hopefully I'll get my #$% together and manage to take the plunge in the near future. You may see me in a thread or two sometime soon(ish)Cheers!
