I actually got into IH because of my love of scooters, I wanted something thick to possibly save my hide

@louisbosco the Daytona 675 always had good reviews, but that might have been due to a parochial British press.
The Suzuki GSX750 might be worth considering too. A lot of people thought that it was the sweet spot between a 600 and 1000.

Love your bike @Kill switch

Thx! It’s a fun bike

yeah i've always loved triumph for what it is worth. but i've been reading that the 675 is under powered compared to the same class during it's time. i'm not sure about a gixxer, never been a fan of suzuki (unless it's a hayabusa) and honda, which is why i didn't think of the CBR600RR.. i know the R6 has been proven for it's time when DR46 rode it, and you can get one at a pretty decent price

mm fair point you both.. it's like comparing the 1000cc bikes..
-
Welcome @Bris ! Nice bike and cool pics.
-
@Kill switch very cool !!! I love to see more shots of it
-
what would you guys recommend in the 600cc sport bike department?
i've been looking at r6 from 2008 onwards plus some 675daytona and zx-6r..
When i rode in Germany this summer i had a Honda 650 and I loved that thing specially if you are more of the beginner , perfect bike.

Hey guys! New to the forum and IH (just got IHSH-62 and have 634S ordered) and figured my first post might as well be in the motorcycle thread. Here’s my Road King Classic. Cheers!
How much Americana can you get in one post ! Just missing a Burger joint

Took part of the DGR 2018 ride this weekend raising funds for prostate cancer and mental health in men. Nearly 100 bikers in my city, which was a good show considering it was the first time we do it locally.
I rode my Scrambler and paired it with my IHSH-91 (hickory striped workshirt with snaps) and Viberg country boots in waxed flesh. Very low quality pic so I had to tell you what I wore.
It was fun! Consider joining it in your city next year!
