WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY (PICS)
-
@Jii:
Today we took one final stroll in Tokyo and ended up in Yoyogi park near Harajuku. We had the best of luck since we found four blossoming cherry trees! Both me and the wife feel so lucky for seeing these, here's pic I took:
Alas it's still about a month early for cherry blossoms – those are Momo (peach). The white ones you posted earlier are Ume (plum). Once I was with friends drinking beer at Yoyogi park and a guy walked by in a full Nazi uniform. Interesting stuff around there. Meiji Jingu, the big shrine behind Yoyogi park, is a "power spot" well worth visiting.

Pushing 30 but still a kid who's up to no good…
My mate and his bag of goodies (I don't smoke though)... He also brought 2 bottles of exquisite Riesling wine (I had most of those, then went to Chablis).
We settled at the messy attic to play Gran Turismo 5 on my 42" screen... I had all the best laptimes, despite my mate trying to get me drunk...I took 2 quick pics of his 3sixteen ST-200x (Slim Leg Black Selvedge) jeans he picked up at Self Edge last summer when he was in San Fran. Infrequent wear as he mostly has to wear a uniform (security) and a suit (drug professor at a university lol):

We were thinking the same regarding the cherry blossoms so we asked a couple of local people if those were them and they said yes. Bummer. Someone once told me that cherry blossoms have no smell and those had none so I supposed they were the real thing. Oh well, beautiful flowers anyway. And yeah, we visited Meiji-jingu on our first day in Tokyo, it was really nice.
Now were back home and I'm doing my best to stay awake a couple of hours more so that I won't be totally wasted by the time difference tomorrow at work.
