What's your favorite Beer?

In the States that CT would be anywhere from $800 to $1800 or more. Because we're dopes.
Apologies in advance for the thread rot. Especially as I didn’t even drink the beer last night.
Dental work doesn’t come under our impressive welfare state system after the age of 18 so what I paid was full price. That the price was around the lower middle end of the range you quote is a pleasant surprise, in as far as having to pay someone for spending two hours in your mouth with power tools can ever be described as pleasant.
Beer on Friday, I promise.

@neph93 hope you’re feeling alright bud. The phrase “insult to injury” might have been coined for dental work.

DEAR LAWD my STC-1000 (external temperature controller, it keeps my fridges at around 12C°/ 55F) was playing up… Thought it had croaked, but re-set all parameters and it's working again...
Problem is: I didn't really keep track of it during summer, and it must have been playing up for a while now, cause I have a lot of mildew inside... Luckily it isn't too full so it won't take too long cleaning it out...
On the plus side: it made me look at (other) pre-wired temp controllers, and I've seen (better) ones at half the price I paid for mine... So even if they do break, I know it won't be an expensive fix...
Ok... /end beernerd rant...

Cheers @scooter I have to say this is bloody good stuff. Hot Ingrid had sip and even she loves it. She also surmised it would last me all night though, so what does she know…
Excellent choice. I'm happy you, and Hot Ingrid enjoyed it.
I love that stuff. At 9% ABV, it won't hit you like a BBA stout. But, it's so damned tasty, one could polish off a 4-pack, without batting eyelash. As a matter of fact, I believe I did, once. There's a night I can't quite remember.

I followed it up with this.
Solid af. Proper impy stout, perfect balance of heat, sweetness, dryness and mouthfeel. And for 12%ABV not too aggressive, and certainly not sickly. I’m sort of glad you can’t get it over here. I’d be all over it, all the time.

I’d be all over it, all the time.Of all the brews I brought along, the Imperial Stout was the only one I have not tried, yet. I'll surely be picking some up, soon, before it's gone. Somewhat like IH, the majority of their brews are endangered. Occasionally, they will rerun a particular brew. But, I haven't seen anything you could consider extant. Even if you feel you'd be all over it, all the time, you likely wouldn't be able to, anyway. I'm hopeful they will decide on some essentials, at some point.

Drank the two remaining Voodoo/Untitled Art beers last night. They were both very good. The one I was the most doubtful about was the milkshake DIPA Cherry Cobbler. It was brilliant. So tasty, complex yet balanced. It also looked incredible but like a noob I didn’t snap it. Maybe one of the other beneficiaries of @scooter generosity can.
The coconut stout was delish too:

I snapped one. It's further up the thread. The milkshake IPAs are personal favorites. While, I quite like the cobbler, I would choose the apricot over it, 100 times out of 100.
