IHSH-177 - 18oz Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Indigo
-
@Paul9221 Do you own the IHSH-177 in the same size as your IHSH-211 (duck CPO)? I just got the IHSH-211 in size large and I am happy with the length, do you find the 211 and 177 to be similar in length? I ask because I tried the overdyed CPO and though it was a good fit through the arms/shoulders/chest, it was quite short in the body for me.

The overdying process shrinks the fabric, [url=https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=15690]@dreigh. That could explain the sizing. Also, you can ask the crew for the "longest" in your size when you order. -
So I've had this for about 6ish months now and love it, quick question in the cooler months does anyone wear this with a lighter cotton shirt underneath? I've not ready to wear it under a coat juuuust yet?
-
I have the IHSH-178 which is the Overdyed version and never wear it without a shirt underneath, be it denim or UHF.
Works great with just about anything underneath in my opinion. I've got a North Face parka and find that the 178 is a bit too stiff to wear underneath, must need to wear it in more so it softens up
-
From T > light Flannel > UHF underneath. When it’s too cold, I wear a down vest above my nearly similar build 99. @DemonDenimHunter
-
Cheers guys, I've always worm mine with a T-shirt underneath and sometimes as a layer under a heavy black leather racer jacket if the weather is really cold.
-
Hey folks the chain stitch run-off at the bottom of my shirt has started to unravel if that makes sense, if I cut it will the seam come apart? Also where do you cut it from safely?
-
@DemonDenimHunter Not a problem at all and perfectly safe to snip off. If you examine the hem at the point of the chainstich runoff, then the side seam is either bar-tacked or sewn in to the fabirc via another stitch. Just snip off under that.
I've started snipping off most run-offs. I used to think they were charming, no I find them irritating.

IH mostly uses polyester or poly blend thread for construction, so if you're really worried about unraveling, after you clip it off, just hold a lighter to the loose ends and it will melt. Squash it down with your fingertip and it will never unravel.
I do this with all my shirts, since I really dislike chainstitch runoff.

Hello everyone I am new to this site I discovered iron heart Recently and since then I am a big fan.

Hello again, I don't understand everything, I don't have good English, I'm French it seems to me that the jeans and a 666, and the mark on the pocket and a box of styling wax
-
@momo73 no problem, your English is great. Snus is a Swedish tobacco product, they have something similar in the US called dip. It comes in round cans or boxes. If you wear denim with one in the pocket it looks like your hair product fade. I always thought it was pretty cool.
Really great jeans [emoji1417]

If I'm an XL in the IH-9526PJ with only a T-shirt underneath, am I likely to be an XL in this worn the same way?
I know that's not the best comparison, but I don't own any IH shirts, and I don't trust my own measuring (plus the fact that the shirts I have are all lightweight) to just go by numbers.

This shirt and the 178 were a bit different size-wise for me. While I would normally go with a L, the combined length of the shoulder and sleeve, both longer than your typical L made the sleeves too long for my tastes. I got lucky and found a M with a 21.8" P2P so it's a little snug in the chest and just a tad long in the sleeves. When I had the L, I had to cuff, not optional.
If you have long arms, choose by the P2P measurement, otherwise, try to get a large P2P in the size below.

Go XL.
