Our Cars (dream or actual)

Nor am I but it's a daft trend with car manufacturers currently, for example Audi and their 35TFSI 40TFSI etc, BMW the same…what\y can't they just state the engine size!
-
Compared to that, S, GTS, Turbo, Turbo S, etc seem pretty straightforward brand segmentation. You just have to let go of the origin of a word and you basically know what each trim model is within its line is without having to think about it (e.g., "Turbo" is obviously faster than something that's not "Turbo"… "Turbo S" is like "Turbo" but better).
Anyway, as to the "bake-off" between rival EVs, I was surprised to learn the Jag is getting its ass kicked. The VW EV, it turns out, runs a diesel engine to charge its batteries*. Tesla aside, I think the Audi e-Tron seems to be the top competitor among what they brought in based on range and performance, and it has great amenities as well.
Hoping to get some shots of much more interesting, gas guzzling Porsches this month, and perhaps some video from the track (inside as well as outside of cars-in-motion).
*This is a joke. There is no VW competitor.

I'm no SUV fan, but I've seen an e-tron and that thing has great road presence.

It is so luxurious and Audi does such a great job with technology bells and whistles in the cabin. I think it was my second-favorite in that room, trailing the Porsche just because I know it can get to 60mph in 2.4 seconds and a quarter mile in 10.5 and will have better handling dynamics than anything else in the room.
Though were I to buy one of these, I think Tesla is still the most practical option, even if Model S is getting long in the tooth and interior fit and finish is comparatively utilitarian.

i guess you haven't seen an egg yet then.. those things are menacing on the road. love the agera and regera.. and they just came up with a 1700bhp 2+2 seater. 600bhp from a 2.0L three cylinder turbo engine is mind blowing..

Having a grand time at the Porsche Experience Center in LA. We got to do a few laps in a Taycan Turbo S with a pro driver (crazy acceleration and chassis stability under turns) and there is effectively a car show on the lot in addition to the 917s, 918 Spyder, and other legendary cars they have in the garage. Saw a GT as well, but it was actually in the lot.
Next we will be piloting their new VR simulator. And then driving some Taycans!

Cheer @Chap and my pleasure. I'll keep adding to the album. They've now removed the general public and we will be hitting some sort of holographic simulator. Very grateful my wife hooked us up!

That's an Audi R8.

It's a great idea when original parts give out. Here's a converted 911, and there were others.

I was intrigued by this claim on a 911 Turbo S
-

That's the stock grill for a 2017 R8 Plus.
