Guys, can I expect some shrinkage on this one? Right now it is a bit loose around the chest (P2P) area. Would like it a bit snug! So if I wash it at 40° C, can I expect some shrinkage?

Product page says no. Once washed already so little or no shrinkage.
40C wouldn’t do much anyway as the “one wash” would have been hotter than that. You may get shrinkage at 60C, and would almost certainly get shrinkage if you subjected it to a 90C wash. There is a trade off there however as 90C temps may cause some undesirable effects as well as the looked for shrinkage.

If I can get any shrinkage, that would be a blessing for me!
Another question, will this material soften after use / wash? It is tougher than the other 9 oZ that I got from IH recently!

Not sure if you already saw my post from earlier in the thread, but in case you didn't, here are my shrinkage results for a medium I bought in January.
I didn’t measure it in between the two washes, but based on the fit, my guess is the first wash gave it about 75% of the difference, and the second wash just snugged it up a bit more.
Can’t say the temp I used; it was my washer’s highest setting.
Shoulder: 17.5 => 17.3
Length: 30 => 29.3
Chest: 21.8 => 21.5
Waist: 20.5 => 20.25
Opening: 21 => 20.75
Sleeve: 26 => 25.3My experience is it starts off very stiff after the hang dry (maybe stiffest of all my IH shirts), but quickly becomes very soft.

So this shirt came back from a 30° wash and there is some shrinkage, but that is definitely to my liking (measurements in cm):
1. Length 73.0 -> 71
2. Sleeve 63.5 -> 62
3. Chest 52.2 -> 51
4. Waist 49.7 -> 49I hope it does not shrink any further!
-
Came back from a second 30° wash and I can confirm that there is no shrinkage any further. All the measurements post first wash are intact!

@Giles Those snaps are tempting. I repent not pimping it. Can this be done now? If so how does the shipping work?
-
@jothishan To send a shirt in for pimping you will just need to cover the cost of getting the shirt to us and back to you, along with the cost of the upgrade. You can always have the pimped shirt shipped back with an order that qualifies for free shipping.
I believe these were the last set of brass snaps available with no plans to restock them.

Those snaps are no longer available…

Ok! So they are gone! Can one do this pimping by himself? I will keep a watch on the snaps and should any become available, I might order them!

I would love a restock size XXXXL on this shirt…...

^^^ count me in for a 4XL as well [emoji41]

I
am so exicited about my new shirt ;D It felt like a win in the lottery to get the last pair of brass snaps. First time I have seen the 07 with brass snaps I thought : Fu## I got to have that shirt with those snaps ! When I wanted to order I found the snaps to be out of stock. And Giles told me that they will not be available again. Before I got the information from Giles I instinctively activated the restock alert. That was my luck I think. When I got the restock information about the pair Giles found, I pulled the trigger in minutes to get them, even I thought it might be a system error or something like that. But it wasn

If you don't own this shirt, should you even be allowed on this Fourm?
