Well roaster in Seattle: I love Cafe Vita and Umbria. And honestly being in the home of Sbux we usually get all the test stores and their higher end stores have some great and interesting roasts/coffees. More regional PNW I really enjoy Stumptown. Whenever my wife and I travel we drink/try lots of coffee and one that I always think about is Flat Track in Austin, TX. They had this amazing blond/light roast when we went. They can also pull a mean shot.
But with being WFH for months now I definitely am going through more of my personal coffee real quick. So I am taking advantage of large Sbux bags from Costco. I would go broke buying 10oz artisan bags only lol. -
Last time I was in Seattle I came across Lighthouse coffee, which I loved, but I’m a dark roast fan. On the east coast I like www.oldcitycoffee.com if you order 5lbs of coffee, you get a free 6th pound and shipping is free. They have a really great selection and have detailed pictures of their beans so you can judge specific roast levels.

I love The Conservatory for Coffee, Tea, and Cocoa in Culver City, CA. They're pretty local to me but man, they roast a great bean and at a pretty great price. They're especially great for decaf. Most places will use a chemical process to decaffeinate the beans and it ends up tasting terrible. Their decaf is divine.

Buy over $50 and shipping is free!
I got really into their tea selection. The Earl Grey extra fancy is delicious. Their cocoa is AMAAAAZING. Only really have it during the holidays, though.

I'm looking out my window right now at Old City Coffee. Small world!

You live in Philadelphia or just visiting? I first encountered Old City during an IH meet up in Philly. Found them at the Reading Terminal Market.
I live in Philly. I work in the Old City neighborhood. I'm not sure if this location was first or if the reading terminal was open beforehand. They have a socially distanced line now every morning so its tough for me to get my fix!

I had that same French Press.
One time, I forgot to clean it out before going on vacation and came back to the funkiest pink mold growing inside of it. No light makes it an amazing holiday spot for the fungus
