hi,
I would like to know if there are customs fees for a shipment to France? ::) -
hi,
I would like to know if there are customs fees for a shipment to France? ::)No, you will not be charged customs
-
I'd like to use the UPS return option from the shop. Do I receive the shipping label instantly or do you guys have to process it first? My package (length x width x height ~ 48 x 36 x 12 cm] is already packed or do I have to consider certain dimensions?

hi,
I would like to know if there are customs fees for a shipment to France? ::)Hey boombasstic, if you are ordering within EU, there are no extra customs fees
-
We process it. Should we reword this bullet, we tried to make it as clear as possible?
"We will process the return shipment within 1 working day (Monday to Friday) and you will subsequently receive an email from UPS with link to print shipping label and further instructions"
Within reason, dimensions are fine, but especially if you are shipping from outside EU (though, I know you are not), please don't waste internal space. All couriers charge the higher of actual weight or "dimensional weight":

Okay, thanks. I just read it the way you will process the returned package within one working day and one receives the label subsequently after ordering (=immediately). That's why I've asked. If you do decide to reword then maybe something along the line of
"We will process the return shipment request/order within 1 working day (Monday to Friday) and you will subsequently receive an email from UPS with a ink to print return shipping label and further instructions"

I'd like to order the Red Buffalo UHF. I'm in Canada and there is no stock left at Canadian retailers. I was wondering what the customs charges would be ordering direct from Iron heart. Thanks in advance

Canadian customs are best placed to tell you that. It is the Canadian govt who makes that charge, not Iron Heart. A quick Google comes up with this:
https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/import/postal-postale/dtytx-drttx-eng.html
Looks like 5-13% of the cost depending where you live, but here is a calculator:

On the International IH website there's a message that pops up that says there are no cross border fees for Canada. I just wanted to make sure, since they use UPS and i've had some huge charges from them in the past.

I’m in Canada and have bought several things on the international IH website. There are no other customs fees that you have to pay.

For any shipments to Canada we pick up all the charges, there is a facility in UPS that we select that says "all fees and charges to be charged to the shipper".
That is why a pop up come us if you are browsing from Canada that say; there are no cross border charges if shopping from Canada. It is obviously not clear enough. How could we make it clearer?
-
Thank you. I've just been burned so many times with high customs charges. I'll be ordering direct from you guys from now on

That's great thanks. We recognise that Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) are some of the most venal customs authorities in the world, so we wanted to take the additional aggravation and level of stress away from our Canadian customers. That is why we do what we do….
UPS brokerage process the shipment on behalf of CBSA and than charge us. This also means that shipments do not get held up, whilst waiting for charges to be paid because the charges just get added to our UPS account.

Hi @Giles,
I don’t think there’s an issue with the wording. It’s just hard to believe that all customs fees are included in the price! Especially with UPS- Their brokerage fees are ridiculous. I’m forever buying all my IH gear straight from the source! -
is there another option for shipping to rest of the world? does the fedex alternative still exist?
UPS still hasn't taken their usual route of which means parcels get routed the longer way through Europe then to the USA (Kentucky and Hawaii) and to SYD before PER. It also adds on a week to 2 weeks to the time taken before it gets to West Aus. The usual route goes through Germany, China, Singapore and down the west coast of Australia which is way quicker. i'm not sure how long this will last depending on their flight operations..
