… just found my old levis sherpa jacket in the closet ...
... would be cool to have one in 21oz IRONHEART quality in raw indigo ...

Our 21oz selvedge is sanforised, but that aside, it may be impossible to make. I'm discussing a Type III in 18oz (with no lining) with Haraki at the moment and because of the stiffness of the 18oz denim, he thinks even that may not be possible. Admittedly the 21oz selvedge is a lot softer than the raw 18oz and therefore "easier" to sew, the addition of the lining may put it into impossible territory….......

… well I thought about the raw SR denim ... but I understand that the sewing is difficult with the heavy denim and the lining.
maybe there are other ways to realize some kind of a sherpa jacket ... I think it would fit in the Ironheart line up ...

ok thx G … but like I said ... maybe there is another way to realize a sherpa jacket in a "lighter" version

I actually got a chance to try on a 32 BB and wasn't able to pull them up. bodytype is def not right for that cut ::) I guess I need a 34 to fit in them.

Haraki-San please consider a heavy-heavy weight corduroy for next winter black, navy, dark tan, bikers from the 20's to the 50's wore them in winter. Loose fit. Trust me with one of your heavy shirts they will rock. LVC and Wrangler are gearing up for this. I've seen up to 15 oz in highland country clothing suppliers but I know you can get heavier. They look great with denim and leather. If you'd like to pursue this I have some classic patterns and suggestions. Thanks.
