Got a chance to hang out with my art again, here’s a few pics of this one that looked nice in the morning light

@adam313 insane work! Approx how long does one piece take?

Thank you! The similarity to denim wearing is strong. Like wearing a pair of IH for at least 1000 wears, this paper has well over 1000 hours into it, spread out over the course of four years. It's definitely not commercial art. It's more of a temple for personal evolution. I could've stopped multiple times along the way and left it as it was, but I kept drawing over it again and again, so it was definitely not a linear evolution. Just a make it up as you go experience.

Just a $1000 frame job hanging from a potted plant plant hook hanging from a dead tree branch! Nothing extraordinary. Figured I should get some publicity for these framed peace’s in the same way as my wearable art. Everything must be a multitasker these days. I prefer outdoor art galleries in the days of Covid

Dug thru some boxes and found a few more porcelain bowls from centuries ago. These are going to @derivative666 if I ever get back to New Mexico in 2021.
And I believe @Giles owns these if memory serves…

Thank you so much ️️️️

All praise due to god. The saga continues. Wu tang. Wu tang.

Not for the faint at heart. Respect to the crafts people that make the denims we so proudly wear!
4 leather craft needles in: (fortunately i have a good supply and determination to finish)

Thanks. Me too. This is the 1st zipper ive sewn in so just doing a tack line to keep it in place a d make sure it lines up correctly.
Your seeing the outside of the denim which will be flipped to inside showing the selvedge when complete, along with the chain stitch.
Plan is to also sew molle and/or velcro to one of the sides for backpack/laptop bag carry. Debating on a interior liner.
Probably should have started w a 21oz remnant. But wheres the fun in that. Lol. Love the xhsbb. And have another piece if i fuck this up -or-preferred, like this one. May have to invest in sewing machine tho. Or not. I love hand stitching.

Began using punch after previous pic. Made things much easier and expedient. Zipper now tack’d in and positioned properly (meh. For the most part and good enough for government work). Now to do a proper chain stitch and w evenly spaced stitches. Gonna snag a craft pen from the wife to mark.

Pretty damn cool @mikebarhoot. I often consider what to do with my cutoffs apart from saving them for patching. You’ve started me thinking again. Inlike the idea of heavy denim patchwork «tray» for the sideboard/bedside table. The kind of thing you can dump your EDC in.

Oooohhh. I like that too Ruben! May try that with some other remnants.
Was also thinking about setting some in epoxy to use for knife handles.
