Now that looks like my kinda’ thing Brock
How do they handle in the snow?
And being 450’s they’ll have a decent amount of power, enough to get you into all kinds of trouble!!!

[emoji15] a whole new thing for me! never heard / seen such a build before! Wow![emoji12]

It’s so fun! If you’ve ever ridden a snowmobile then you know hard they are to handle and how easy they are to get stuck….
These are just the opposite! The handling is incredible and because they are so light they are virtually impossible to get completely stuck like you would a sled...
The Honda 450’s have the highest top end torque so they are most desirable for Snowbike conversions but you can pretty much convert any brand of bike and there are plenty of track options out there now days...

Can’t say I’ve ridden snowmobile… but as you say, I’d imagine they would be a real handful
I can see why The bike-riding ergonomics would handle so much better
Is it possible/ easy to convert it back to a dirty bike to use in the summer months?
-
Lots of people convert back and forth every season.. but it is 6-10 hours job I believe. I havent done it yet myself but I have all the parts to do so..

I can't tell you how much fun that looks Brock… I'd love to give one of those steeds a go... Ill take the (500 exc?) KTM!
Apart from being blessed living in a beautiful part of the States, I would reckon you can pretty much ride where you want!!

Bought my son a backpack so I didn’t have to carry his skis. Selfish purchase, but he was thrilled
-
I was inspired to look to and see if there was a skiing thread as I just ordered some new skis, haha. Here's a pic from last year in Breck on a 12" powder day.

Man, it's been decades since I went skiing…I miss it for sure
-
@Joberwocky It's like riding a bike…you never forget.
-
@Soleamp haha, I sure hope so. Growing up in Florida, I was fortunate enough that my family palled around with a group of other familial friends that used to go skiing out in Breckenridge every year. One of my favorite memories as a teen. It's been a while, I think I could convince the wife to take it up

I love Breck. It gets some shit from the locals because like Vail it draws in a lot of out-of-staters, but it's a decent ski area, great town, not too far, close to Keystone (which has more acreage but a less happening town), and I have free places to crash so I can come in ahead of the damn traffic on I70.
I didn't get a pass this year with the baby so I won't get too many days, but we are having our families come out there for the holiday season and I can't wait to ski with my nieces, nephews, sister, and in-laws.
Here's Breck local Bobby Brown demonstrating the mountain from peak 10 to the base:

We need to get Bobby do this run in a UHF and 25 oz
