get your fit pics in here and give us progress reports @slickyinc and the thread will long outlive the run of these jeans

this is the best online community and forum of all time. what a great bunch of people.
-
why are you sorry, you super passionate (which I admire) and humble (which I admire) and a genuine nice person to internet people (which I sometimes admire sometimes am confused about)
just didn't want to steer someone reading these posts to a cut that did not meet their expectations
no harm no foul or in a vegan's case fowl, see what I did there
last time I was on here this much it had to be like 2014 or so
I was embarrassed I was so wrong. And also it didn't occur to me at the time, but I sounded like a jerk (probably) saying one thing was superior to the other. When I was super skinny the only thing that mattered to me was small leg openings and everything else was moot. I guess that's why in my mind I put the 777 cut on a pedestal. Giles said for years they'd never do a XHS slim cut and they finally did one to my amazement.

@Filthy:
I am due to get a pair of 364-XHS this week, as soon as they come in. My knees as starting to bother me and I am finding that I no longer feel like trying to break in tight jeans.
! I am old and fat [/spoiler

So I'm older and slim "size makes no difference " with old knees and have switched from 666 to 634 for work. This cut will not impede your movement, a quite valuable cut for aging Slim cuts are still fine with me if sized wisely, for example my 777's measure 33 and my big boy 55's measure 32. -
Wearing these today, picked up a while back from a legendary forum member.
Great fit. Like a 555 but with a touch more room in the block and thigh, plus good of space for Engineer boots at the hem.
-
Nice score @organisys the past is the past, but I do like the BB cut. Fortunate to have owned two pairs in it, one of which is still in rotation.

[mention]Filthy [/mention] was kind enough to answer my WTB request for some well loved XHS. To find well faded XHS with no tears or repairs is a unicorn - but to see how much starch still came out of them with a cold soak was mind blowing.
I forgot how undersized the B01 fit was, but somehow these fit.. inseam is my ideal length and the fades are exquisite - can’t wait to wear these for casual events until the heat truly kicks in
Why well loved XHS and not a new pair you ask?
I wanted a denim I didn’t own, in a wear stage I will never achieve lol - I also wanted to get to that crazy vertical falling stage, and some denim I could wear with my 526L and make it obviously a different denim.
I forget how much I love the 25oz in this stage and very tempted to grab the 777-XHS for next winter.
Thanks again Mike [emoji869][emoji869][emoji869]

They look good mate.
Funny enough I am wearing mine for work again. Love the 25oz.
Unfortunately I think it will be a short wear period as they have too many repairs to really be able to stand up to hard graft.

@Appfaff they look awesome on you! I am glad you like them. I am guessing you are using the taptalk app or whatever, because the @ mention shows as bb code and I never get the notification?
-
Yeah, I was on the app… sorry about that!
Thanks again!!
